Individual multimedia tour


Step into the world of Van Gogh with the multimedia
tour. Available in Dutch, English, French, German, Spanish,
Italian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin) and Portuguese.
Price: 5 (adults) and 2.50 (aged 13-17). Children aged 6-12
can join in for free with the adults.
Family tour
The family tour has been designed specially for families with
children (aged 6-12). Explore the world of Van Gogh together.
The tour is available in two languages: Dutch and English.

Museum Shop
The beautifully-arranged museum shop in the glass
Entrance Building has a wide assortment of gifts and
souvenirs. Among other things here you will nd scarves,
leatherwork, reproductions, jewellery, clothing, toys, painting
items, books and postcards. At the service desk in the shop, you
can arrange to have your purchases delivered anywhere in the
world. A wide selection from our assortment can also be found
online at www.vangoghmuseumshop.com.
Bookshop
Our extensive bookshop is on the 3rd oor of the Main
Building. Here you will nd books about Van Goghs
life and work, the museum collection and the art of his time.
For children, theres a special kids book corner. The bookshop
also has a reading table with a lovely view overlooking the
Museumplein.
Museum Caf Le Tambourin
Le Tambourin in the Main Building oers a wide range
of freshly-prepared hot and cold meals, drinks, salads
and pastries. Special oers are available every day - before
12 noon and after 3 pm.
Free WiFi
Free WiFi is available all over the building. Select
the network Van Gogh Museum Guest, accept the
terms and conditions and you are online.
Photography
Photography is not permitted in the museum,
except in designated places.

Information Desk
At the information desk in the
Entrance Building, you nd all
kinds of information about our activities,
lectures, tours, treasure hunts, school
materials, exhibitions and the works from
the museum collection. Our sta will be
happy to help you.
Treasure Hunt
For children aged 612 (free)
Find out about Vincents famous paintings.
Answer the questions and complete the
tasks. If you get everything right, you will
nd a gift waiting for you at the
information desk. The treasure hunt is
available in two languages: Dutch and
English.
Vincents travelling case
For children aged 6-12 and accompanying
adults (free)
At the information desk, children and their
accompanying adults can collect Vincents
travelling case. This is packed with fun
assignments for young and old(er).
Lectures
Lectures on dierent themes are organised
regularly for museum visitors. Researchers,
curators and restorers tell inspiring stories
about Van Gogh, his time, recent research
or an exhibition. Ask the sta at the
information desk for details of the current
programme.
Friday Nights in the museum
Every Friday night, the museum is open
until 10 pm with a fantastic programme
of live music, DJs, VJs, workshops,
performances and tours. The lounge bar
serves a selection of drinks and
freshly-made cocktails.

Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam


The museum consists of two buildings: the Main Building (yellow) and the Exhibition Wing (blue). These
buildings are connected by the glass Entrance Building (white). The Main Building houses the museums
permanent collection with works by Van Gogh and his contemporaries. The Exhibition Wing hosts various
exhibitions which are organised there. The Van Gogh Museum is open 365 days a year.
