This assessment is an indicator which has been compiled on the basis of responses and is subject to the sincerity, mental
preparedness, environmental stimulus and motivation level of the student at the time of administration of SGAI 2014. The
Reliability scores, applicable to Part II is one such indicator. The scores of the student in this report are shown through
graphs along the indication of how the individual student scores fare, relative to the whole student population, who have
attempted the same assessment.

IMPORTANT
The CBSE SGAI is an optional activity meant for class Xth students studying in CBSE affiliated schools worldwide. This stage
coincides with the adolescence period wherein, though not in a concrete form, career concept and planning also begin to
somewhat evolve. It is therefore relevant to give a road map and realistic

CBSE SGAI is an assessment of ability and interest.


Unlike the conventional aptitude tests, the CBSE SGAI attempts to indicate academic orientations at +2 level
CBSE SGAI has been customized to suit the Indian context and variety of student population in CBSE affiliated Private,
Government and Aided Schools.
CBSE SGAI assessment tool has been pre-tested.
CBSE SGAI is an optional assessment and should be taken only as an indicator.
The purpose of CBSE SGAI is to help the larger population including parents, teachers and students to initiate a
dialogue on subject choices that lead to effective career planning later in life.
