Organizations are social systems. If one wishes to work in them or to manage them, it
is necessary to understand how they operate. Organizations combine science and people
technology and humanity. Unless we have qualified people to design and implement,
techniques alone will not produce desirable results. Human behavior in organizations is
rather unpredictable. It is unpredictable because it arises from peoples deep-seated needs
and value systems.
Human Behavior in an Organization is a field of study that investigates the impact
that individuals, groups and structure have on behavior within organization. It is the study
and application of knowledge about how people act within organizations. It is a human tool
for human benefit. It applies broadly to the behavior of people in all types of organizations,
such as business, government, schools and services organizations. It covers three
determinants of behavior in organizations: individuals, groups, and structure.
Our taxes is the lifeblood of our nation. It is a compulsory monetary contribution to
the countrys revenue levied by the government on workers' income and business profits or
added to the cost of some goods, services, and transactions.
The Bureau of Internal Revenue specifically the district of Mandaue which covers the
whole Mandaue City, Lapu-lapu City, Cordova and whole Northern part of Cebu. We cater to
variety of clientele with different transactions every day. Our office consists of 5 sections
with very specific functions to ensure the quality of the service we provide namely:

Administration Section
The group is in-charge of the taking care of the office needs and its employees.
Making sure that environment is ideal for work.
Assessment Section
This groups main function are auditing and monitoring the tax remittances of every
individual and corporation under its jurisdiction.
Collection Section
This core group focuses on collection and monitoring the districts given goal.
Implementation of revenue regulations specifically on taxes remitted by every
taxpayer.
Customer Service Section
This section caters taxpayers registration, books of accounts and transfer of office,
districts and updates.
Document Processing Section
This groups function is safekeeping of documents of the taxpayers and uploading the
data in the system.

Every core group plays a vital role in the organizations success. Since we provide
service to the taxpayers especially Mandaues jurisdiction covers a huge number of
clientele, it is significant that every employee is knowledgeable of their functions and to
ensure that they are familiar with the goals expected from the organization.
The transactions in the Bureau are inter-related, meaning, the function of each
employees is important.
