We are in a state of emergency, but it isnt due to terrorism. The $1.2 trillion college debt crisis is crippling our
economy--and no one is doing anything about it, says Brandon Wade, Founder and CEO

of SeekingArrangement.com. Instead of earning a living and making milestone purchases post-graduation, many are
stuck sending their paychecks straight to Sallie Mae.
The student loan debt crisis is among the hallmarks of the 2016 elections. While college completion rates in the
United States trails behind other countries, it ranks fourth as the most expensive for students. Sixty percent of all
students seeking wealthy benefactors to fund their education are from the United States.
Some see this as a controversial solution. However, SeekingArrangement.com has helped facilitate hundreds of
thousands, if not millions, of arrangements that have helped students graduate debt-free, says Wade. Thats more
than anyone can say of a particular president or Congress.
This year, 35 percent of SeekingArrangements collegiate population from upper-middle and high-income families, no
change from last year. However, the ratio of undergraduates to graduate students is up at 82 percent to 18 percent,
respectively.
