Training Needs Assessment (TNA) Questionnaire
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) recognizes the need to
address the emerging needs of the Court Social Workers to improve performance of their
role. It is crucial to establish first the current Court Social Workers competency through
the conduct of Training Needs Assessment (TNA) questionnaire. Further, to provide
technical assistance to the Court Social Workers as partners in responding to the
emerging needs along social protection concerns and addressing the issue of helping
clients with court related cases, a training for Court Social Workers is envisioned after the
conduct of the TNA.
This questionnaire is being administered to assess the degree of competency of Court
Social Workers in the performance of their role.

separation. Additionally, some court social were only utilized in cases involving
CICLs, adoption and custody.
