The students of AIM Kolkata have excelled in their respective fields. Students have graduated from the institute to
become social entrepreneurs, business leaders and decision-makers, artists, authors, corporate managers and other
such successful individuals. This group of esteemed AIM alumni are brought together at the Army Institute of
Management Kolkata Alumni Association (AIMKAA). The collective wealth of knowledge of the alumni members
is of great value to the institute.
Till date, AIM Kolkata has produced as many as 1400+ alumni members, who have been placed as international
heads of businesses in different countries and continents. Banking, information technology, FMCG and
infrastructure are some of the spheres where the AIMK students have made a mark.
The role of the Alumni Association in helping AIM Kolkata realizing its mission and visions cannot be
overemphasized. The goals and objectives of the institute are also suitably modified, as per the expert advice of the
alumni members. The Alumni Association, indeed, offers holistic support to AIM in all its spheres.alumini
----------The AIM alumni association is aware of its social responsibilities. Programs like educational drives for
underprivileged kids and distribution of blankets are regularly arranged by the body. The association also keeps a
close tab on the managerial operations of the institute. The infrastructural facilities and the academic curriculum of
AIM are also framed, keeping the advice and suggestions of the alumni association under consideration.t\
------------The Army Institute of Management Kolkata Alumni Association (AIMKAA) the alumni association of
AIMK is one of the top supporting bodies of the institute. The association possesses a large pool of talented
individuals, who have made a name for themselves in diverse spheres. Writers, intellectuals, business entrepreneurs,
social leaders people from practically every walk of life can be found in the AIMKAA.
With a high degree of knowledge and professional expertise at their disposal, the AIMK alumni members have been
able to excel on the global platform as well, in infrastructure, IT, infrastructure, banking, FMCG and many other
sectors. Over 1400 of them have gone on to become national/continental business heads as well. The alumni
association serves as the supporting wing of the institute, in all the endeavours of the latter. Be it the pursuit of the
general AIMK mission and visions, or adding value to its goals and objectives the institute always receives
support from the AIMKAA.
Nostalgia The alumni meet of the AIMKAA is organized as a joint collaboration of the staff members of
AIMK, and the students of the institute. During the meet, the convocation ceremony of AIMK is also held, amidst
much fanfare. Many other interactive meeting sessions are also conducted by the alumni association, in different
parts of the world.
************* The IT department of DMI College of Engineering hosted an alumni meet as a Christmas gettogether on Sunday.
Around 100 students from the first batch (2005-2006) to the ninth batch (2013-2014) gathered on the campus.
Rev Sr I Arockia Mary, correspondent, offered special prayers at the beginning of the meet.

In his speech director G M Joseph Dunston underlined how the alumni meet strengthened the bond between the
alma mater and the alumni. Rev Sr Mary said that the meet was important to build the relationship between the two.
The alumni said the college had taught them to face adverse situations in life. Alumni coordinator Gopinath of the
first batch and Deepak, the college secretary, felicitated the gathering and requested the alumni to keep these meets
regular.
After an enjoyable game everyone posed for a group photograph and enjoyed the sumptuous lunch hosted by the
college management.
