24K SERVICE, 24 HOURS A DAY

Scope of Services

AUTOMOBILE ASSISTANCE

1. Emergency Towing Assistance / Vehicle Removal


In the event that the Insured Vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident and is immobilized while on the road, 24K will assist in
making arrangements for the vehicle to be towed to the nearest Chartis’ authorized repair/service center or to the Insured’s home (in
case the repair shop is closed) if immediate repair is not possible. Toll charges shall be borne by the Insured.
Limit: (a) Towing - P5,000 per event, unlimited if caused by an accident; P3,000 per event, maximum of 3 events per year if due to
breakdown
(b) Crane service – P10,000 per event, unlimited
2. Minor Roadside Vehicle Repair Assistance
In the event that the Insured Vehicle breaks down and immediate repair is deemed possible, 24K shall assist the Insured by arranging for
a car mechanic to the Insured’s site. Insured will shoulder the expenses on spare parts and toll charges.
Limit: P2,000 per event, maximum of 3 events per year
3. Alternative Travel Assistance
In the event that the Insured vehicle is rendered immobile due to an accident or mechanical breakdown and the Insured urgently requires
alternative transportation to reach his/her destination, 24K will assist in organizing alternative transport for the Insured to continue his/her
trip, on the condition that:
a) the accident / breakdown occurred over 50km from place of residence,
b) the Insured Vehicle cannot be repaired within reasonable time.
Limit: P2,000 per event maximum of 3 events per year
4. Arrangement of Hotel Accommodation Assistance
Should the Insured Vehicle be rendered immobile due to an accident or mechanical breakdown occurring over 50km from the insured’s
place of residence and the vehicle cannot be repaired within 24 hours, 24K will assist the Insured by arranging for hotel accommodations
at the nearest location whenever possible.
Limit: P2,000 per event maximum of 3 events per year
5. Return of the Driver
If the Insured Vehicle is immobilized over 50km from the insured’s place of residence due to breakdown or accident and was towed, 24K
will assist the Insured to return to his/her home.
Limit: P2,000 per event maximum of 3 events per year
6. Products and Claims Information Services
24K can provide the Insured information on general claims procedures and main product features.
7. Referral to Accredited Repair / Service Centers and/or Adjuster
24K will assist the Insured by providing referral to the nearest Chartis Authorized repair, service centers. 24k may also refer the Insured
to Manila Adjusters & Surveyors Co. (MASCO) for accidents involving property damage and/or bodily injury claims for investigation
and/or adjustment.
8. Carnapping Alarm Assistance
24K will assist the Insured in reporting to the nearest police station the carnapping/ carjacking incident.
9. Legal Referral
24K will provide the Insured names and contact numbers and if requested by the Insured and if available, office hours of Chartis’
accredited lawyers or legal practitioners within the area where the Insured is located.
10. Emergency Message Relay
In the event the Insured vehicle breaks down or is involved in an accident, 24K shall upon Insured’s request, transmit urgent messages
related to the vehicle breakdown or accident to the Insured’s family members or to Chartis.
11. Directory Assistance
Upon request, 24K will advise the Insured the contact details of LTO, MMDA and Police/PNP assistance.
12. Directional Assistance
Upon request, 24K will provide the Insured, street and directional assistance within Metro Manila.
13. Service Assistance
Upon request, 24K will arrange for an appointment with a Chartis accredited motor car maintenance or service provider.
14. Locksmith Assistance
In the event that an Insured may have lost or misplaced the key of the Insured Vehicle, 24K will assist the Insured by dispatching a
professional locksmith.
15. LTO Car Registration Assistance
24k can assist the Insured if he/she would like to renew his/her vehicle registration by non-appearance. Actual costs incurred shall be
shouldered by the Insured.
16. Merchant Affiliations
The Insured may enjoy discounts and freebies from 24K’s affiliated merchants (i.e. car supplies and accessories, automotive batteries,
restaurants).

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
1. Arrangement for Repatriation of Mortal Remains
In the event of the Insured’s death arising from an accident involving the Insured Vehicle, 24K will arrange for the transportation of the
Insured’s mortal remains from the place of death to the place of interment or mortuary.
2. Arrangement of Hospital Admission
Should the Insured vehicle be involved in an accident and as a result, the Insured requires hospitalization, 24K will assist the Insured in
arranging for hospital admission.
3. Ambulance Assistance
If the Insured Vehicle is involved in an accident resulting to the Insured being injured, 24K will assist in organizing an ambulance to bring
the Insured to the nearest hospital.
Limit: P5,000 per event, unlimited

DEFINITIONS of 24k Service terms:


“Insured Vehicle” shall mean any 4-wheeled motor vehicle up to 10 years old, privately used, with maximum 3,500 kgs. gross weight, not
being used in transporting goods, and with comprehensive auto insurance with Chartis Philippines Insurance.
“Insured” shall include the named policyholder, driver and passengers.
“Driver” shall mean the Insured or any other person driving the insured vehicle with the consent of the Insured
“Passenger” shall mean the people travelling in the Insured Vehicle.
