Northampton Diocese. Andrew will be with us for three weeks.

SURVIVE-MIVA Next weekend there will be a speaker giving details of the work of Survive-Miva,
and we will hold a retiring collection. Survive-Miva are the only UK based Catholic Lay
Association funding transport for the Churchs health and pastoral work in remote and underdeveloped parts of the world. Please be as generous as you can.
GRATEFUL THANKS from the flower ladies for your very generous Christmas flower collection.
CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE members would like to thank everyone who contributed, in any
way, to their stall at St Andrews Christmas Fair. 175 was raised for charity.

Mass: all are welcome to join us

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT every Monday at Our Lady of Peace from
7.00pm to 8.00pm. All welcome to join in Contemplating the Face of Christ through prayer,
praise and stillness. There is also Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at St Andrews every
Thursday from 8.30am 9.30am. All welcome.
CHURCH LINEN Many thanks to all who help with the Church linen throughout the year. If you
would like to help with this Ministry please speak to Denise, we urgently need more volunteers.

OUR LADY OF PEACE CHOIR The Choir have recorded a selection of their favourite songs,
and there are CDs available to purchase from the Sacristy at 5 each. They hope you enjoy the
music as much as they enjoyed recording it.

THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION will be conferred by Bishop Peter
NEXT year on Tuesday, 21st June 2016 at 7.30pm. If any young person
from Year 8 onwards would like to receive Confirmation next year, then
please will they themselves write to Fr Andy as soon as possible to request to
receive this Sacrament and to join the course. All applications need to be in
by NEXT Friday, 15th January 2016 please.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL meet at 2.00pm on Tuesday, 12th January in the Sacristy at Our Lady of
Peace. New members would be welcome. If you know of anyone who would like a visit from the

CSCT St Andrew's Church Cippenham Shared Church Trust Meeting, on Tuesday 19th January
at 7.30pm.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CLASSES The next session is on
Saturday, 23rd January from 9.30am 11.00am at St Andrews
Church, Cippenham. Please continue to pray for our children so
that they will grow in their appreciation of the sacraments of
Confession and Holy Communion.
FREE TRAINING DAY for young adults interested in youth ministry on Saturday, 23rd January in
Watford. This training/exploration day is run by Soul Survivor and has been running for many
years and has a very good reputation. If there are any young people in the Parish who may be
interested in attending it is definitely worth going to. And it is FREE and relatively close by. For

CHURCES TOGETHER IN BURNHAM Week of Prayer service at United Reform Church on
Sunday, 24th January at 3.00pm.
SPIRIT AND LIGHT WORSHIP evening will be held at St Andrews, on Friday, 29th January at
8.00pm. The evening, led by Fr Andy, will begin with a teaching and a reflection followed by

VOCATIONS WEEKEND for young women (20s and 30s) Theme: Discerning God's Call in my
life. Dates: 29th - 31st January 2016. Location: Liverpool. The weekend is organised by the
sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus (FCJ). There will be input from the FCJ sisters on different
aspects of vowed life, and time for prayer, reflection and discussion with other young women
who are also considering a vocation to religious life. It's an opportunity to live community life for a

CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE Members of the Catholic Women's League will be visiting The
Savill Gardens for a walk and refreshments in the cafe on Monday 1st February. We will meet at
Our Lady of Peace Church at 1.30pm to share transport. This is instead of our meeting at St
Andrew's at 2.00pm. All ladies welcome to join us - you do not have to be a member.
ST PATRICK'S NIGHT An evening of music, dancing and celebration,
complete with a licensed bar and appropriate refreshment. DIARY NOTE
NOW! The date is Friday, 18th March 2016 in St Andrews. The proceeds of
this event, 10 per ticket to include Irish stew supper, will be shared equally
between Our Lady of Peace and St Andrew's.
