Question 1
An experiment was conducted to compare the effects of three different paints on the corrosion of pipes. A
long pipe was cut into 12 segments, which were randomly assigned to one of the three paints so that each
paint would be used on four segments. The segments were painted and allowed to weather for a period of
six months. The accompanying corrosion readings were than obtained.
