SECTION A: TRUE / FALSE (10 QUESTIONS, 10 MARKS)


Instruction: Indicate whether each of the following statement is True (T) or False (F)

Question 3 (10 marks)


a) When creating a document, you may need to emphasize particular words or phrases by bolding,
underlining, or italicizing. You may bold, underline, or italicize using four different methods.
What are the methods? (4 marks)
(i) using the launcher
(ii) the Ribbon
(iii) the Mini-toolbar/context menu
(iv) and the keyboard
b) What is the step to Bold the words or phrases with the Dialog Box Launcher? (4 marks)
(i) Choose the Home tab.
(ii) Click the dialog box launcher in the Font group. The Font dialog box
appears.
(iii) Click Bold in the Font Style box.
(iv) Click OK to close the dialog box.
c) In Ms Word, we Press Ctrl+b to Bold words with keys. To remove the Bold, we can press Ctrl+b
again. We can also remove the formatting by pressing CTRL+SpaceBar. (2 marks)
