In this lecture, some topics are

presented within three big
categories:
linguistics, literature, and
English language teaching
learning.

Topics in linguistics cover the

following:
1. Phonology
2. Morphology
3. Syntax
4. Semantics
5. Sociolinguistics
6. Psycholinguistics
7. Language Acquisitions
8. Discourse Analysis
9. Pragmatics
10. Stylistics

There are also some other topics

in linguistics such as:
1. Error Analysis
2. Translation
3. Constructed Language
(ConLang) Analysis

There are three groups of topic

in literature:
1. Structural Analysis (intrinsic
analysis)
2. Non-Structural Analysis
(extrinsic analysis)
3. Film-Based Analysis

In English language teaching learning,

there are five groups of topic :

2. Testing in ELT
3. Text-book Analysis
4. Learning Styles/Strategies
5. Communicative Competence

However, in English teaching learning,
