My name is and i am a high school graduate of Theoretical High School of

with major philology / humanities. Currently, I am studying at the for a study

program in the field of history, political sciences and international relations,
because I am determined to pursue my professional training and my hobbies.
Ever since high school, I have had a passion for history, psychology and
sociology, philosophy and foreign languages (English, French). In my opinion,
these subjects are the foundation of each young person's training, wishing to
pursue a career in the field of politics, as they provide the possibility to
understand the social behaviour in the context of contemporary political life,
and also elements of analysis and argumentation of the collective psychology.
I consider myself a sociable yet selective young person, I voluntarily choose
my friends and the interest group; I can work in a team, I am not disturbed by
the individual particularities of the others; I believe differences unite and
people need a second chance, too. I gladly get involved in volunteering
activities, I am charitable and never xenophobe. I had my grandparents,
parents, teachers and trainers as my models, but also cultural and historical
personalities, both from the past and contemporary scene. An important role
in choosing this particular fields of study was played by: readings, the
possibility to take part in various activities related to the political and social life
in Romania (Romanian and universal history circle, meetings with
personalities, solidarity marches with the Romanians beyond the country's
borders). I have not been constantly involved in political activities, due to my
age and the academic life which did not allow me to do so, and yet I
participated, conjecturally and out of conviction, in marches and symposiums
on historical-political themes, for social and cultural purposes. All these
activities have fuelled my desire to pursue a successful career in the field of
history, political sciences and international relations. Another determining role
in choosing this field was played by my concern for reading (scientific) and for
viewing some cultural, sociology and anthropology programs (National
Geographic, History, BBC Knoweledge, Euronews). I am realist individual and
I consider that training and education in political sciences is necessary in
these times of social, economic and cultural change in the world. Sport is
another hobby of mine, particularly Karate and Wushu. I believe that these
activities have contributed greatly to building up my character. I learned
respect, discipline and patience, work and perseverance and especially to
never give up. I can withstand the rigors imposed by a restrictive program and

I can adapt easily to various situations. I am curious and creative; I have an

intelligence which I can use in the objective approaching of situations. I
always start from a theoretical principle and find solutions for its practical
implementation. Why did I choose to apply for study in the United Kingdom ? I
want to study in Great Britain, because I have a special admiration for the
qualities of its people, for the British type social, economic and political
organisation. I am also attracted by the funding opportunities, by the
performances of the education system, the safety and the high standard of
student life in an English university. I wish to achieve good results and
performance; I am also willing to work to cover my expenses but also to
acquire experience in the social life and in cultivating the English language.
