Question : What is characteristic of Simple Sentence?

Answer : Simple sentence is sentence contains one independent clause and no
dependent clause. A simple sentence contains a single subject and
predicate. So characteristic of simple sentence is sentence which
have one idea.

Answer : Linking verbs link the relationship between the agent and the rest of
the sentence. They explain the connection between the subject and its
complement or that which completes the subject's description. The
most common linking verb is "to be."
There are some word in Linking Verb, such as : Taste, Feel, Become,
Grow, Look, Remain, Seem, Smell, Sound, Appear.
Example : The Coffee tasted bitter
In here tasted as linking verb which relationship between the
agent is The Coffee and the rest of is bitter

Answer : Simple sentence and independent clause, same : that is contains is
single subject and predicate, and also can stand by self.
Simple sentence just have on idea in sentence
Independent clause have two or more idea which separated by a
hyphen as a dot and comma

In this sentence, is as to be which fungtion as adjective
Adverb : My mother cook in the kitchen
In this sentence, the kitchen as adverb

Answer : Sorry, because our grup just explain simple sentence. Definition of
simple sentence is sentence contains one independent clause and no dependent
clause. So simple sentence just use one verb, not two verb. If sentence use two
verb, that is included to complex sentence.

Answer : A simple sentence contains a single subject and predicate. It
describes only one thing and has only one verb. Can be added
adjectives and descriptions, but it does not change into a complete
sentence.
