implementation of the programs/activities

3. GOAL

during the semester.
3.1 CWTS-1 Services/Involvements covers the following:

a.

IN-CAMPUS SERVICES/Involvement
- 5 Rs Campaign (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover,
Respond)
- Clean, Green, Peaceful Campus Campaign
Floor Patrol
- Intramural Days Services
- One hour service every week of CWTS Students to
their CESDEV Programs.

b.OUT-CAMPUS (Extension Services)


- Envirofest Nature Trekking
- International Coastal/
River Clean-up Day
- Alay-Lakad
- Blood Donation (throughout the year)

c.

Integration Day Culminating Day


AM Activity

MUGNA CWTS (creative works as translation of


what they learned in CWTS-1 in actual and tangible
projects like:
- Booth-showcasing the 7 Environmental Principles
- Recycling Inventions/Creation/Re-making
Fashion, etc.
(each student select their own project)
- T-shirt / Leaf Printing
- Make-Over Challenge

MUGNA Cultural Showcase their Talents


/Capabilities in singing, dancing, poetry, etc. for the
Kundiman/native to retro hiphop genre, etc.)

Integration Interfaith Celebration of Life and Promotion of


peace with an Interfaith Organizations like URI with
bands Sing and dance, etc.

3.2 CWTS-2 Community Immersion/Service


1.

Preparation Stage:
The Students Volunteers/Facilitators/Students undergo
different orientations and basic skills training on:
- Community Awareness/Relations/Organization /
Planning /Implementation
- First Aid/Disaster Preparedness/Prevention
- Drug Awareness/Prevention
- Bantay Tambutso Campaign
- Good Citizenship Modules
- 12 Little Things you can help your country better
- Other Skills as the need arises

2.

Program Implementation in the Communities:


2.1 - Planning Stage with the Brgy. Councils/Communities by the
facilitators/student leaders for the project the community
want.
2.2 The Activities in the communities would normally
center on:
- TUTORIALS for children using environmental education
modules we have in CWTS-1
- Adopt-a-Family Program
- Beautification, Greening, Cleaning the Community
Campaign thro sharing of the Waste Management
Law
- Bundles of Joy-Christmas Bazaar fro the Community. The
students donate goods, etc. and they sell in the community for
half the prize as agreed with them. The proceeds go back to
the Community in the form of projects agreed upon.

2.3 INTEGRATION DAYS in the Community like:


- PASAKA Festival for one barangay
(whole month of February)
- Cultural /Environmental Inventions/Activities
- Showcasing of Talents and Abilities of the
Communities
- This year we will introduce the following
Waste Market Fair (for livelihood program)
Recycling Creation/Inventions
- For the CWTS Grand Recognition Day
Graduation day Cebu Coliseum (Formal)

SPECIAL PROGRAMS for CWTS-2 in


partnership with Cebu City and other NGOs
- Crowd Control during the Sinulog Procession and
Sinulog Mardi Gras for Cebu City
- Community Blood Donation in partnership with
RBCC and PNRC
- Drug Watch Campaign Parade
- Involvement with LIHOK Filipina, Share a Child
Movement and other NGOs for selected students

Management, Administration,
Policies, Strategies

1. Management/Administration - organizational structure

Organizational Structure

a)

Administration/Management
- composed of the Director as the over-all
implementor of the program.
- UC-Staff, Working Students, Support Volunteers
help the Staff and Administration of the day to day
program.
- Financial Committee who is in-charge of the
internal finances of the CWTS and Auditing.

b)

Area Team Leaders these are Senior Student
