Abstract
The purposes of this study were to 1) study the level of democratic political attitudes of Kasetsart
University undergraduate students 2) study factors affecting the democratic political attitudes of Kasetsart
University undergraduate students include personal factors, Political Socialization, and political interest. The
samples are 405 students from various faculties of Kasetsart University and using stratified random sampling
method. The research instrument used in this research was questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis
were percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple discriminant analysis.
The results showed that 1) Democratic Political Attitudes of Kasetsart University undergraduate
Students were moderate. 2) Factors affecting the democratic political attitudes of Kasetsart University
undergraduate Student were gender, political socialization from sources of political information from new
media, including social networks and political interest. 3) Factors influencing the democratic political attitudes
of Kasetsart University undergraduate students most were political socialization from the source of the
information, followed by gender and political interest respectively.
