Abstract
The aims of this research to 1) study the individual factors and work behavior of employees at.
Nippon Paint (Thailand) Co., Ltd (Bangpakong Plant) 2) study factors affecting the employeess participation in
Lean for Growth Program of Nippon Paint (Thailand) Co., Ltd (Bangpakong Plant).
The majority of employees were male, aged 31 - 40 and married. Their education was bachelor
degree. Their working experience was 6 - 11 years as employees, their hobby was to seeing the movies and
listening to music and their income was between 20,001 - 25,000 baht per month. The majority of working
behavior of employees was operation section, position was operator. Direct responsibility in product was
Enamel Paint. Normal working time was daytime only, team work style, number of machine more than 4
machines per person. Their over time was 0 - 25 hour per month.
Factors affecting the participation by Employees in Lean for Growth Program of Nippon Paint (Thailand) Co.,
Ltd (Bangpakong Plant) at a statistical significance level of 0.10 were education, working experience, hobby,
section and product. The emphasis on the work in the environments, the safety system, the workings and the
welfare.
However, the compensation/motivation and the corporate culture could not significantly explain the
employeess participation in sustainable development program of Nippon Paint (Thailand) Co., Ltd
(Bangpakong Plant).
