Abstract
To study coordination between NongKhwai municipality and people in creating transparency
community, NongKhwai sub district, Hang Dong district, and Chiang Mai province. The objectives to (1)
study the coordination between the municipality and people in NongKhwai district to creating a
transparency community. (2) Study about factors involved in creating a transparency community of
municipal NongKhwai district by using qualitative research and the gathering data by using the semi
structured interview include the data collection from documentary research and descriptive analysis. The
source of main information is the executives committee of NongKhwai municipal, mayor, deputy mayor,
municipal clerk, sub district headman, village headman, disaster prevention volunteer group leader,
public health volunteer group leader, civil boy scout group leader, women empowerment group leader,
prize committee from king Prajadhipoks institute and community development.
The result of study found that the coordination between NongKhwai Municipality and people in
creating transparency community, NongKhwai sub district, Hang Dong district in Chiang Mai course by the
interaction between three important factor consist of first, NongKhwai municipality administration based
on the transparency work and people cooperating. Second point, the community leader has a role of
relativity united between NongKhwai municipality and people to make understand the process of
municipalitys work and to make municipality understand what is peoples require and the last point,
people can participate the project and activity that provided by municipality to strengthen the
communitys united and investigate the municipalitys work for transparency. Factor affecting of
coordination between NongKhwai municipality and people in creating transparency. It can devied into
four factors such leader ship, community strength point, value, community culture and participation in.
