    COST Actions are pan-European science and technology networks that allow researchers, engineers and scholars to grow their ideas by sharing them with peers. This triggers innovative products and services. The COST Open Call accepts proposals for innovative research ideas that can lead to scientific or technological breakthroughs.     shortlisted Actions to receive

    Intergovernmental committee of independent,


    high-level experts selecting the proposals best
    reecting the COST mission and policies. They
    set up a nal list of proposals for the Committee
    of Senior Ocials (CSO).

    Growing ideas through networks

    Review Panel

    Proposal collection
    Proposals are collected on
    8 September 2015.

    External experts
    Three independent external experts evaluate
    each proposals focus on excellence in science
    and technology, on impact and implementation,
    and draw up a report.

    Ad hoc group of experts set up a proposal ranking based on previous input.
