MGE G3 SA (With Analog Outputs)

Multimeter

Multimeter for three or single phase mains with more

than 50 electrical variables, nonvolatile bulk storage
memory, digital and analog outputs. The instrument
has three alphanumeric LCD displays with easy
visualization. Furthermore, there are harmonic
th
measurement, up to 127 order, THD for current and
voltage and waveform capture. All parameters can be
configured through keyboard or software, which
follows the instrument and allows view all variables,
harmonics spectrum and waveform.

Characteristics
Three alphanumeric LCD displays with easy visualization
Waveform capture in the Modbus buffer for all three phases (current and voltage)
Free included configuration and monitoring software with the instrument
Easy configuration through keyboard or software
Universal three phase connection, balanced and unbalanced load, or single phase.
Serial communication RS 485 protocol Modbus RTU and RS 232 for local configuration
th

THD measurement for current and voltage. Harmonics (up to 127 ) measurements, which can be viewed
through software in form of table or histogram
Nonvolatile Bulk storage memory, supports up to 48 hours without power supply with correct time register.
This functionality register the date, time and the variables configured (e.g. if it was chosen 12 variables,
sampling time 15 minutes, it is possible to store 40 days). Through the configuration software it is possible
read, salve and configure the bulk memory.
Universal auxiliary supply 85...265VAC/90...300VDC
Protection degree IP50 (housing) and IP20 (connectors)
7 digital outputs configurable though software + 1 for Failure Signaling.
4 analog outputs configurable through software
Accuracy class 0,5%

Mounting Instructions
The installation must regard the climatic conditions. It is
important verify the vibration, dust, temperature and
humidity, which must be in the specified limit. The
mechanical fastening in the panel door is done through a
pair of clamps, which is included with the instrument. The
connection of the input voltage, auxiliary supply and RS 485
should be done though pin terminal. The connections of the
input current should be done though lug terminal.

Caution
Be sure that all connected voltage and current are
compatible with the technical specification and if the
connection are in accordance with the connections
diagrams.

Dimensional (mm)

Verify the connection diagrams and user manual to

configure the instrument. Configure the PT ratio and the CT
primary, connection, and communication (address, baud
rate and byte are according to the local installation
