USER

Teachers also known as the users of the system, use the system to aid in their process of
creating the lesson plan. To begin using the system, the user are required to register
for the system. Then the user need to login to begin creating the lesson plan
using the system. To create a lesson plan in the system, the user are required to select the

subjects and year which is in a drop down list. Through that selection the system will retrieve
the ontology that will be used. The users are then required to select the learning area
followed by the topic. The topic listed in the drop down list are based on the
learning area selected by the user. Next, users need to select the learning outcomes
which is also in a drop down list. The learning outcomes are according to the topic chosen.
Based on the chosen topic, the objectives for respective chosen learning outcome will be
displayed. The users are able to choose appropriate objectives. Once the objective is chosen,
the objective can be modified by the user if in case there is anything to be added or to reduce.

In conjunction with the above criterias, users are then required to select the desired lesson
plan component which will be then search all over the web based on the ontology defined.
The lesson plan component in the system are provided in a tab-form which consists of three
main categories which is the induction set, learning steps and closure. As for the learning
steps there are few categories consists of content, activities, method and techniques,
KBKK, teaching strategy, values and teaching materials. To be taken into consideration that
not all the component are needed to find throughout the web. Users are able to choose the
specific component to be searched. The chosen component will lead them to the search result,
the user than can select the appropriate link to be used in their lesson plan. When the link is
clicked the web page will be displayed, so that user can retrieve the desired information and
include to the tab area. The information can be modified by the user or use it as it is. As for
teaching materials, the search result will be for example in worksheet, video or slide and etc.
The users can click on the link which will be then pointed to the resources whereby the users
can download to the local directory (laptop or pc).

After gathering all the required component, all the data are then transferred to the another
form which is known as the standardised lesson plan template. The component that the
teacher had not search in the net can be filled in by the user. Finally users will be provided
with the SAVE button as well as PRINT button whereby teacher are then required to
choose the lesson plan to be printed in .pdf or .doc format.

ADMIN
Admin is functionalize on defining the ontology of the system. The admin manage the
ontology of the system as per required by the system. The ontology that are managed by the
admin covers the function of add,modify and delete the ontology of the system. Once a new
ontology is defined by the admin, the system is automatically adjusted.
