At a plastics factory

to the bottling plan
where they are filled
with water.

Most of the plastic bottles are thrown in the trash and


end up in landfills. Some are recycled and brought to a
factory that turns them into other items like carpet,
fleece and other plastic items. Eventually, those items
are disposed of in the trash and also end up in the
landfill. The bottles are ready for you so they are
transported to the store. The bottles are brought to the
bottling plant where they are filled with water. At a
plastics factory the oil is transformed into plastic
pellets then bottle pre-forms. The pre-forms are heated
and shaped into bottles. Then the oil is cleaned at the
refinery.

At Spritzer, the values of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives have always
been an integral part of their business. Environmental sustainability is vital and they are conscious and
understand the need of careful management on the issue of carbon footprint generated by their business activities
and they are committed to protect and preserve the environment. Recently they have planted over 5,000 trees to
reduce the level of carbon dioxide and other on-going actions taken and new initiatives introduced by them.
They are:
Packaging reduction and light-weighting. By reducing the weight of packaging through innovative design and
new packaging solutions, the consumption of plastic raw materials, as well as the energy cost required to
produce the packaging is being reduced. Spritzer bottles are designed to be easily collapsible for easy recycling.
The use of plastic PET (polyethylene terephthalate) materials which is 100% recyclable for packaging and at
the same time they promoting recycling among consumers.
Investing in high technology machinery for production thereby saving energy and reducing waste of their
company product.
Promoting recycling among consumers, projects include embarking on green campaigns with the objective of
educating the public on awareness of environmental issues and recycling.
