Dear Varun Kumar Gupta,
Congratulations! It gives us great pleasure to offer you admission to the Masters in Marketing Management
(MMM) program at Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research, Mumbai for the
academic year 2013-2016. The program is scheduled to commence from 17th June 2013 with an Orientation
Program i.e. Foundation C ourse. The foundation course is mandatory for all students.
You are requested to kindly complete the admission formalities, including payment of tuition fees and the Library
Deposit (refundable) from 2nd March, 2013 to 9th March, 2013 at the Institute office. A detail of the fee amount
is enlisted in the 'Note on Payment of Fees' document along with this letter.
You will also need to submit two photocopies of all your certificates, duly attested, as per the list enclosed along with
your fees, between 11.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. only. It is mandatory to bring along Original copies of all the
certificates for verification when submitting the attested photocopies.
If you have Graduated from a University other than the University of Mumbai, you are requested to collect the
Eligibility & Enrollment Form from the Institute office, fill the same & submit it with requisite fee in cash as
mentioned below along with mark sheets of SSC , HSC & Graduation i.e. marksheets from First Year till the final
year of graduation.
1) Rs.220/- For Universities in the State of Maharashtra + Rs.220/- for Enrollment Fee & Rs.500/- Verification Fee
(Total Fee = Rs.940/-).
2) Rs.320/- for Universities other than State of Maharashtra + Rs.220/- for Enrollment Fee & Rs.500/- Verification
Fee (Total Fee = Rs.1040/-)
Your admission will be confirmed only on the payment of fees and submission of all documents. You are requested
to complete the formalities latest by 6.30 p.m. from 2nd March, 2013 to 9th March, 2013. If the same is
defaulted and the certificates are incomplete or originals are not produced, this offer of admission shall
automatically stand cancelled and the seat will be offered to the next candidate. If at any stage, it is found that the
information given by you is incorrect or you are not eligible for this degree course, the admission granted to you will
be cancelled and the fees paid by you will not be refunded under any circumstance.

List of documents required at the time of admission:


1) Degree Certificate issued by the University and not by the C ollege.
2) Degree Mark List issued by the University and not by the college.
(Two sets duly attested by competent authority.)
3) Experience Certificate in proper format indicating, the date when the C ertificate was issued, the period of
service, designation held etc. & C ertificate from current Employer. (as per specimen provided)
(Minimum 2 years as Executive / Supervisory after graduation is mandatory)
4) Date of Birth Certificate. (HSC Passing /Municipal Authority/School Leaving C ertificate)
5) Transfer Certificate/Leaving Certificate from last college attended. (Graduates of University of Mumbai
only)- Forms available in the office.(Transfer Certificate to be submitted to the office on or before
30th June 2013)
6) Migration C ertificate in case of students graduating from Universities other than the University of Mumbai are
required to apply to their respective University and submit the same to the office on or before 30th June
2013.
7) Post Graduation Registration Form.(Forms available in the office)
8) Enrollment Form in case of students graduating from Universities other than the University of
Mumbai. Forms available in the Office
9) Marriage Certificate - Gazette Copy (for female students only & if applicable).
10) Payment of Fees :The selected students are requested to kindly complete the admission formalities, including
payment of fees of the First Year as per the fee amount specified in the 'Note on Payment of Fees' document.

The Library Deposit cheque amount should be drawn separately.
a) Fees must be paid at the IC IC I Bank C ounter (at the Welingkar campus) only.
b) Fee challan after document verification will be available in the office C ounter between 11.30 a.m. to 6.30
p.m. only.
c) C ompleted fee challan duly verified by office along with C heque /C ash equivalent to fee amount to be
submitted to the IC IC I Bank C ounter.
d) C heque/DD must be drawn in favour of "Welingkar Institute of Management Development &
Research"
e) Selected students are required to pay full tuition fees i.e. yearly fees immediately after the admission
within the stipulated period mentioned above. In case, they fail to pay the tuition fees within the stipulated
period, their seat will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.

A Note on Payment of Fees


Two separate cheques/Demand Drafts must be drawn in favour of "Welingkar Institute of Management
Development & Research" payable at Mumbai. The break-up of the fees are given below. Kindly identify the fees
amount you need to pay on the basis where you have completed your Graduation from.

FOUNDATION COURSE:
The foundation course marks the onset of your management education.
Since 1988, we have been conducting this foundation course to inspire students to make the most of their three
years at Welingkar. It has been designed to give students the conceptual framework of the following:
1) Mathematics & Statistics
2) Financial Accounting & C ost Accounting Principles,
This will enable students to understand these subjects before the program starts.
Having received encouraging and positive feedback from students in the past, we have made the foundation course
an integral part of the program. It is compulsory for all new entrants to attend this program. This year the two week
foundation course will commence from 17th June, 2013 between 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The detailed time-table will be communicated to you before the commencement of the course and will also be
displayed on the Notice Board.Attendance at the foundation course is compulsory.
Regular classes will commence from 1st July, 2013.

NOTE :
As per University of Mumbai Resolution students are requested to avoid the words
Currently/Presently/at the time of leaving the organization in their work experience certificate. The
certificate should be explicit in mentioning their designation & date of joining or leaving the
organization. Students who have worked in more than one or two companies should submit the
relieving letters from the respective companies clearly mentioning their period of service.
Appointment/offer letters & resignation letters will not be accepted as supporting documents.
