CAD/CAM PROTOCOL CHANGE: After taking the final impression of the cast, submit
both a yellow-stone cast of the opposing arch & the final impression (to be poured
in die keen). This is to ensure quality control. (They will pour up the die keen arch and
use the yellow-stone cast to confirm that this will be good for CAD/CAM.) Please fill in
the work request as stated before.
Feel free to make an appointment with Dr. Estafan in 8W (the signup sheets
are at the counter) and show her the casts for a consultation to ensure that they
are qualified for CAD/CAM.
(Note: If you ever have an appointment in 8W, you must bring all of your
instruments from your clinic floor.)
MISSED CAD/CAM TRAINING SESSION: If you have missed a session, you must
make it up by attending any of the remaining sessions. You can find the remaining
lecture schedule here.
If you have any concerns or questions about clinic that you would like to be brought up to
Dr. Hershkowitz, feel free to let Ava or Stephan know! There is a scheduled meeting
before winter break.

Never touch a denture that was not made at NYU. Doing so implies that we are satisfied
with the denture and take full responsibility for whatever happens after any adjustments are
made.
