A SUM OF MONEY was found after the 6.00pm Mass last Saturday at Our Lady of Peace,

NYMO This weekend we welcome Laura Cullen from Northampton Youth Ministry Office who will
be talking to us about the Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage to Krakow for World Youth Day 2016.
THIS SUNDAY IS REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY and we pray for the repose of the souls of those
whose lives, in world wars and conflicts past and present, have been given and taken away. We
pray in particular for the servicemen and women who have died in the service of their fellow
citizens and for their bereaved families.

SLOUGH SLEEPOUT FOR THE HOMELESS Here is your chance to get involved and make a
real difference do not let this opportunity pass you by! Friday 27th November - St Bernards
School, Slough from 6.30pm until 6.00am the following morning!! We are organising our
very first sponsored Sleepout to raise funds for the Homeless Emergency Winter Night
Shelter, now in our third year, we are aiming to re-open on 4th January 2016. The sleep will be
fully managed outdoors. We will provide the cardboard boxes, but you will need to dress for the
prevailing weather and bring your own sleeping bag etc. You will be joining many others for a
night of solidarity which promises to be full of entertainment, food and funsomething you will

HELPERS WANTED ON THE NIGHT If you cannot sleep out all night, we are also looking for

LOCAL BUSINESSES Would you like to help? Can you communicate the Slough Sleepout for
the Homeless to your employees? Do you have anything you would like to donate such as food,
cardboard boxes or other services that would help towards the success of the evening? If so,

your friends and spend one amazing night sleeping outside together! You will not regret it! Get
involved and support those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Please note that on this, our
first sleep out, there is a minimum age limit of 18 for those sleeping or volunteering overnight.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2016 If your child is in Year 3, and you wish your child to receive
their First Holy Communion in May 2016, you will need to enrol them on the First Holy
Communion programme BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF THIS SUNDAY, 8TH NOVEMBER.
You will also need to bring with you a copy of the childs Baptism certificate: if you cannot find it,
you will need to contact the parish where your child was Baptised and obtain a copy. The
closing date for all applications for First Holy Communion for 2016 is 8th November. The First
Holy Communion classes will begin in January 2016 and will be held at St Andrews on Saturday

to arrange an appointment to complete the enrolment form.
CIPPENHAM SHARED CHURCH TRUST will meet at St Andrew's Church on Tuesday, 10th
November at 7.30pm.
CHURCH CLEANING will be on Saturday, 14th November at 9.00am. Please try and spare an
hour to help.
CAFOD MEMORIAL MASS for all deceased CAFOD supporters will be on Sunday, 15th
November, 9.45am at Our Lady of Peace. Refreshments will be served after Mass. All

FREE DISABILITY BENEFIT INFORMATION EVENTS Please see list of venues in Church

FR FERNANDO SUAREZ Founder of Missionaries of Mary Mother of the Poor Ministries from
Phillippines will be conducting a Healing Mass on Wednesday, 18th November at St Andrews at
8.15pm. World-wide Healing Ministry, celebrating the Lord's goodness and mercy to each one of

SPIRIT AND LIGHT WORSHIP evening will be held at St Andrews, on Friday, 27th November at
8.00pm. The evening, led by Fr Andy, will begin with a teaching and a reflection followed by

PASTORAL AREA OF ST PETER, SLOUGH A day in preparation for The Holy Year of Mercy,
led by Fr Michael Spain OCD (Prior of St Josephs, Gerrards Cross) on Saturday, 28th November
from 10.00am-2.00pm at Holy Family Church, Langley. Please bring a packed lunch.
CHILDRENS LITURGY at St Andrew's starts on the first Sunday of Advent, Sunday 29th
November at 11.30am Mass. Volunteers, on a monthly rota, from St Andrews are offering their
services to pass the word of the Gospel to children attending Holy Mass. All children between
the ages of 2 and under 8 years old are warmly invited. Parents and Grandparents also
welcome.
