Overview
This WLAN repeater quickly and effectively extends the
range of an existing WLAN network. It supports WLAN
standards 802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz- range and WLAN
standards 802.11 a/n in the 5.0 GHz range. Transmission
speed is up to 300 Mbit/s.
Due to the WPS button, the device can be simply configured by pressing the button.
In devices with the described configuration, also the
Fast-Ethernet socket for connection of wired network
devices (e.g. network cameras) up to 100 Mbit/s can be
used.
The device has a compact design with 2 integrated aerials or optimum and fault-free data transmission

NOTE!
When using the repeater for the first time,
place repeater closely to the Access Point to

installation place repeater in area in which the
signal is to be amplified.
Operation as Client
An end device (here a notebook), not containing a wireless adapter, is connected to the WLAN repeater through
the LAN cable.
The WLAN repeater connects wirelessly to a 2.4G or 5G
WLAN Access Point.
Use the Client mode to use the WLAN repeater as WLAN
adapter.

Use the Access Point Mode if you wish to use the repeater
as Wireless Access Point. In this operating mode, the
repeater or wireless communication devices is an interface to the network. You can for instance connect the
repeater to a network router that does not have a WLAN
interface allowing devices to access the network router
via the repeater.
6. Set up a network encoding. Possible encoding: Deactivate, WEP, WPA PSK, WPA2 PSK, WPA/WPA2 PSK

NOTE!
This connection method requires both devices
to contain a WPS button. As factory setting, the
WPS button is set to 2.4G radio mode. To log-in
as a dual band router, whose WPS function is
activated in the 5G radio mode, the WPS button
of the Web Interface must first be set to the 5G
radio mode.
1. Hold down the WPS button on the repeater for at least
5 seconds.
2. After 5 seconds the Power/WPS LED flashes three
times.
3. The WPS function is now active and waits for the WPS
connection.
4. Next press the WPS button of your router to be
connected to the repeater. This step must be carried
out within two minutes. The connection is set up and
the network information is exchanged.
5. When the connection has been established, the Power/WPS LED is lit permanently.
6. If the Power/WPS LED flashes, a connection fault has
occurred. Wait two minutes until the LED is switched
off and restart the connection.

NOTE!
If the desired Access Point is not listed, ensure
that it is active and place the repeater closer to
the Access Point. Next click on Update to refresh the list of available wireless access points.
6. The log-in window for the selected access point
appears.
7. Enter the network key and click on Continue.
8. To close down the Assistant and use the repeater in
the network, select the entry Accept.
9. Wait a few seconds whilst the repeater restarts. After
having restarted the repeater you can log into the
access point from the list of available networks with
your computer and through the repeater.
NOTE!
By default, the network detection is the same as
the SSID of the access point to which the repeater is connected. You can, however, also assign
a different network code.
