Parish Halls & Office Works: Contract for works has been awarded to Searle Bros
Pty Ltd. After inviting tenders, Searles provided the lowest tender, and after rigorous
investigation and interview by our Finance Committee, Searles were awarded the
contract. Local contractors will be used throughout the works program, where
possible.

All Saints Day

Invitation
Parishioners are invited to join in a brief dialogue evening exploring the chapters of
Pope Francis Encyclical Letter Laudato Si..On Care For Our Common Home.
The Letter is guided by St Francis inspiration and example of the care for the
vulnerable and integral ecology which he believes should be lived out joyfully and
authentically. Hosted by Anna Schlooz, Wednesday 18th November 6.00pm

All Souls Day

All Souls Day Annual Mass will be held at the Cemetery Rotunda tomorrow
(Monday) at 5.30pm. Fr John Fitzgerald will be the celebrant.
Book of Remembrance: You are welcome to record the names of deceased family
members and friends you wish to have remembered. Book is at foot of sanctuary.
Jubilee Year of Mercy: Pope Francis has announced an Extraordinary Jubilee which
has at its centre the Mercy of God. It will be a Holy Year of Mercy. This Holy Year
will commence on December 8th 2015, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
and will conclude on Sunday 20th November 2016, the Feast of Christ the King.
Liturgy of Lament & Hope: A liturgy will be held at St Patricks Cathedral,
Ballarat at 2.00pm today, (All welcome). This is being arranged in the context of the
hearings of the Royal Commission relating to child abuse. The liturgy will offer
people an occasion to lament the wrongs that have occurred in our Church, to ask
forgiveness and to pray for healing for all involved.
Emmanuel College: Christmas Gift & Craft Fair: Saturday 7th November 9.30am
to 2.00pm at McAuley Campus Ardlie St. Entry: gold coin donation. Raffles, lucky
door prizes, bbq, afternoon tea. All welcome
The Day Before The Races: Morning Coffee Party: Tomorrow (Monday) at St
Brigids Crossley supporting the Good Samaritan Sisters Mission. Doors open 10.30
