Below are summaries of the numbers of undergraduate applications made through UCAS during the 2013/14 entry admissions cycle. These applications were for
immediate entry in 2013 or for deferred entry in 2014.
Figures in each table are given for:

Applications: the total number of applications;

Offers: the number of offers;
Acceptances: the number of applicants who firmly accepted an unconditional offer (UF) and were expected to enter the University; and
Offer Rate: the percentage chance of an offer being made against an application i.e. 100 x (Offers / Applications)

The figures above are final end-of-cycle figures from a snapshot taken on 1 October 2013.
All figures refer to numbers of applications, not numbers of applicants. An applicant may make more than one application to the University via UCAS.
Where there are 5 or fewer applications, offers or accepts this is indicated as "<6".
"Home" fee students: This includes students who qualify for the SEU and the RUK fee rates. There are a limited number of SEU fee rate places funded by the Scottish
Government for students from Scotland and other European Union countries and there is competition for these places on popular programmes.
International students: applicants who meet or are predicted to meet the minimum entry requirements are likely to be made an offer for all programmes, with the
exception of Medicine. The number of medicine places for international students is limited by UK Government restrictions to 7 percent of the total medicine entrants.
Consequently, international entry to medicine is also extremely competitive.
