With reference to the recommendation, made by the Graduate Council that the thesis title and the
thesis examination committee, members be selected by the Department Council in its meeting No. 1
held on September 25, 2002.
The Electrical Engineering Department in its Departmental Council Meeting No. 5/021 held on Dhu
Al-Qadah 1423H corresponding to January 7, 2003 delegated the authority to the department
chairman the selection of thesis title and the thesis committee by the following decision:

Decision No. 5-6/021

In view of the above, please find enclosed herewith the applications for recommendation of change
in thesis committee and other relevant papers for the subject candidate for discussion in the College
Council.
Please note that one of the committee members (Dr. Hassan Ragheb) has been replaced by (Dr.
Khurram Qureshi K) there by forming a new committee. Also, the candidates thesis proposal has
already been approved.

With reference to the recommendation, made by the Graduate Council that the thesis title and the

The Electrical Engineering Department Council in its meeting held on 04/11/1423H (January 7,
2003) unanimously approved the delegation of authority to Chairman to select the thesis title and the
thesis examination committee.

in thesis committee and other relevant papers for the subject candidate for discussion in the College
Council.
Please note that one of the committee members (Dr. Abu Hamed Abdur-Rahim) has been replaced by
(Prof. Mohammed Ali Y Abido) there by forming a new committee. Also, the candidates thesis
proposal has already been approved.
