The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997
Non-automatic fire equipment should display safety signs in accordance with The Safety Signs and Signals
Regulations 1996.
These regulations require the fire fighting equipment to be marked with a permanent sign board in red;
Our fire signs conform to DIS3864 Part 1 which requires a white border on all fire signs, and all symbols
conform to Pr EN 7010.

From 6am on 26 March 2006 smoking is not permitted in enclosed* public places,
including bars, hotels, all types of clubs, cafes and restaurants
Proprietors cannot permit customers or members to smoke in these premises.
If they do, they will be liable to a Fixed Penalty Fine of 200.

Second-hand smoke kills and causes lung cancer, heart disease and respiratory illnesses
in adults and a variety of conditions in children.

The Disability Discrimination
Act Part III 2004
The DDA Part III amendments produced a strict guideline which came
into effect on the 1st of October 2004 guaranteeing that equal access
must be made to all people using public buildings, including educational
establishments.
Signs should be placed at a height suitable for everyone to reach unaided,
generally this is recommended to be no lower than 1400mm from the floor
and no higher than 1700mm.
All signs displayed white on
blue are also available as
black on white. For ease
