I demonstrate during practicals and teach tutorials to undergraduates on the Introduction to Animal Behaviour
and Evolution (PSY1105) and Introduction to Statistics (PSY1205) courses. I also mark assessments and
exams for these courses, as well as Advanced Statistics (PSYM201), Introduction to Research Methods

both lab and field investigations.
July 2014
Open Day Helper, University of Oxford
My role on the open day was to meet and greet prospective students and offer tours of the Department of
Zoology. It was fantastic to meet the prospective students and to offer advice, answers and to encourage them
to apply for the subject we shared a passion for.
June October 2013
Internship, Food Animal Initiative (FAI Farms Ltd)
My main focus was researching the causes and management of smothering in laying hens in flocks from major
UK free-range egg suppliers. I wrote my first paper on this research, which was published in 2014. I also took
part in gait scoring, chicken dissection training, as well as farm visits and meetings.
