PRESS RELEASE
3-12-2010 2010 through 3-18-2010

On Friday 03/12/2010 Officer Dempsey responded to the 2100 block of


North 33rd Street in Pinehurst in reference to a theft. The complainant
advised that an unknown person removed a gasoline powered weed
trimmer and gas can from his storage building. The property is valued
at $135.00.

On Friday 3/12/10 Officer Blakeney met with a complainant at the


Pinehurst Police Dept. in reference to a theft. He reported that a white
male removed 2 electric saws from his rental property upon vacating
the premises.

On Friday, 03/12/2010 Officer Dempsey responded to the 100 block of


Strickland Drive in reference a private property accident. A white male
reported that someone damaged his vehicle and failed to leave proper
notification before leaving the parking lot.

On Sunday, 03/14/2010 Officer Dempsey responded to a vehicle accident


on MLK Drive and Hwy 90 in Pinehurst. A 35 year old white male
identified as David Silk, exhibited signs of intoxication. He was
subsequently placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and No
Drivers License. The passenger, 59 year old, Fred Eichhorst, was
arrested for Public Intoxication and allowing an unlicensed person to
operate a motor vehicle. Both were transported to the Orange County
Jail.

On Monday, 03-15-10 Officer Foley was dispatched to the 3800 block of


Whipporwill in Pinehurst in reference to a burglary of a building. The
complainant reported that unknown person(s) entered her garage and
removed several items including a handgun, assorted cookware and
cutlery. The value of the property is approximately $500.00.

On Monday, 3-15-10 at about 2:35pm, Officer K. Reneau responded to


the Orange Parole Office in reference to warrant service. Alvin Lemuel
Walters, a 55 year old white male was placed under arrest for an
outstanding parole violation warrant and transported to the jail for
booking.
On Tuesday, 03-16-2010, Officer Foley was dispatched to 3963 W.
Martin in reference to Theft of Service. A local cable provider
discovered an unlawful connection to its service. Charges were filed by
a representative of the company.

On Wednesday, March 17, 2010, about 6:08 PM, Officer Leonard Roff
of the Pinehurst Police Department met with a complainant in reference
to Criminal Mischief. The reportee advised that unknown person(s)
entered onto his property and let his dog off of its leash, thus allowing it
to run free.

On Wednesday, March 17, 2010 Officer Leonard Roff of the Pinehurst


Police Department responded to the 1900 block of N. 30TH Street,
Orange, Texas, in reference to Burglary of a Building.
