INTERNSHIP 2015

NOTICE

Internship is a part of the curriculum design and in order to graduate with Bachelors in Business
Administration from MUD, each student must complete Summer Internship for a minimum
period of 4 weeks. It will commence from the month of July and end by August, before the next
semester starts. The purpose of the project is for the students to gain practical experience.
Receiving a project is a privilege, and the student is expected to exhibit professional behavior
and to contribute to the employing company. The practical experience gained from the project
will provide a context for applying the principles learned in the classroom during the program.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITY
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that his/her Project experience is a success. The
student should be proactive in searching out ways to contribute to the goals of the employer, but
also in exposing himself/herself to the concepts learnt. It should be recognized that a project is a
secondary priority to the employer, and as such the student should actively ask for additional
tasks and learning opportunities. Furthermore, as an intern, each student should make every
effort to give his/her best work. A project opportunity is a privilege, not a right. The student is
not only representing himself/herself, but MUD.

GUIDELINES
Dear Students,
The summer internship project is of 15 credits (500 marks). A hard and soft copy of the summer
internship report in the prescribed format is to be submitted to the concerned Faculty Mentor
after completion. You are required to report to the company for the project on the date of joining
communicated to you. Students will be required to make a presentation at the end of the
Internship and will be given a grade as per MUD evaluation system. The project guide will also
be asked to give an evaluation of all students on a specific format.
Please go through the following guidelines before starting your Project:
1. Make sure that you have read the Internship brochure before joining the company and
are well versed with the values that MUD stands for.
2. Please make sure you have the following:
a. A copy of your offer letter/mail confirmation of your project.
b. Details of the Contact person to whom you have to report on the day of joining.
c. Your college identity card.
3. You have to submit an Interim Report (format given below) to your respective internal
mentor by the 1st review day (i.e. on 15/8/15)
4. On the completion of your project you have to submit a Final Report (format given
below) and give a presentation on the final Internship review day (i.e. on 20/9/15)
5.

Also, after completing your project you have to make sure that your Project Guide fills
the Project Feedback Form (format given below), which also contains your evaluation.
She/he is required to mail/courier the filled in form directly to your faculty mentor.

For any queries during the course of your project you can send an email to the respective faculty
mentor.

IMPORTANT
As brand ambassadors of MUD please make sure you set an example by your sincere
work and behavior.
**** BEST OF LUCK ***
