Forexample,apieceofequipmentmayormaynotmalfunctionover
thedurationoftheproject;ineachyear,themaximumflowofthe
rivermayormaynotexceedsomespecifiedfloodlevel.
ProblemsofthistypemaybemodelledbyaBernoullisequence,
whichisbasedonthefollowingassumptions.
