I grant to Imperial College a non-exclusive licence over the thesis presented by me in [year] for
examination for the PhD/MPhil/EngD/MD(Res) degree of Imperial College on the terms of the
Colleges E-thesis deposit licence1, and I understand that under the terms of that licence:

I permit Imperial College to deposit a copy of my electronic thesis in Spiral*, where it will be
made available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial-No Derivatives licence 2
and, if required, on the National Thesis Service.

the College has the non-exclusive right to reproduce, translate and distribute my thesis
worldwide in both print and electronic format in any medium;

I authorise the College authorities to copy the submission, or, without changing the content,
translate it to any medium or format, for the purpose of security, back up and preservation

I authorise the College authorities to supply a copy of the abstract of my thesis for inclusion
in any published list (hard copy or electronic) of theses offered for higher degrees in British

I warrant that this authorisation does not, to the best of my belief, infringe the rights of any

copies of my letters/emails seeking these to the thesis.

I confirm that any third-party owned material included in my thesis is clearly identified and
acknowledged within the text or content of the submission.

an agency or organization other than Imperial College, I have fulfilled any right of review or other
