Fentanyl Transdermal Patch

Description:
is a transdermal therapeutic patch containing the active pharmaceutical ingredient Fentanyl.
It is about 100 times more potent than Morphine, and a strong pain medication for moderate to severe chronic pain.
delivers Fentanyl into the body through the skin at the designated rate, reaching efficient blood level within
a few hours after the application. The pain is relieved for up to 72 hours; therefore, it becomes the first drug of choice
in cancer pain management therapy.

Indication
(Fentanyl transdermal patch) is indicated in the management of chronic intractable pain that requires
continuous opioid analgesia.
Initial Dose
The appropriate initiating dose of
should be based on the patient's current opioid use. It is recommended

should be used in patients who have demonstrated opioid tolerance. Other factors to be considered
are the current general condition and medical status of the patient, including body size, age and extent of debilitation
as well as degree of opioid tolerance.

How to Apply
Tear open the pouch from the opening notch
