The Dorchester Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants October 12 through October 15, between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Dorchester residents should be aware
that during this period, the water in certain areas of the village
may be discolored or cloudy. This is due to sediment breaking
free during the flushing that was not entirely cleared out. The
colored water does not pose a health hazard and is safe to drink,

The School District of Colby will receive bids for snow removal
at district facilities in Colby for the 2015-16 winter season which
includes salt/sand and plowing of parking lots and driveways at
Colby Middle and High School (front and back), Colby Elementary
School and the District Education Center.
