PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2015-257 returning to the Barangay Council of

Lapasan, this City, its Ordinance No. 002-2015, Appropriating the amount Thirty
Thousand Pesos (P30,000.00) to be made available for the yearly celebration of Senior Citizens
Week to be held on every fourth week of October and the years after, funds to be taken out from
the General Fund of Barangay Lapasan subject to all legal and auditing rules and procedures,
with the information that said Ordinance is in order and therefore the same may be
given force and effect as of the date fixed for its effectivity.

SPECIAL REPORT/S:
i.
Councilor Lourdes Candy R. Darimbang reported about the unfavorable incident at the
Laguindingan Airport wherein Cebu Pacific Air denied three times from boarding its plane a sixday old baby needing immediate heart operation in Manila, including the attending doctor and
the father, and asked that such incident be looked into by the concerned government agencies.
Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution No. 12156-2015, even as the report was referred
to the Committee on Public Utilities for an inquiry and/or investigation, in aid of
legislation.
ii. Councilor President D. Elipe reported about the ongoing road widening projects along the
National Highway wherein the additional lanes can hardly serve the purpose as they have
become parking areas or blocked by trees, concrete electrical poles and steel traffic signposts,
among other issues.
Action taken: The Body adopted Resolution Nos. 12158-2015 and 12159-2015, even as the
report was referred to the Committee on Public Works for appropriate action.

[10.] PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2015-278 urging the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines
and the House of Representatives to look into the incident at the Laguindingan Airport wherein
Cebu Pacific Air denied three times from boarding a plane a six-day old baby needing immediate
heart operation in Manila, together with the attending doctor and the father, thereby endangering
the life of the baby and inconveniencing the accompanying adults; and requesting both agencies
to establish appropriate policies to prevent similar incidents.
