We are already half way through our scheduled revival heaven……..
heaven…….. It seems that the song that is speaking to us these last
services. God is moving! We are being challenged and
directed by the Word each time we gather. I hope and pray
that you are allowing the Lord to speak to you each and
every time we meet. I truly believe that these are strategic
times in which we live. God is empowering His church to
be at her best to meet the challenges we meet daily. In
order for us to adequately reap this harvest, we must be
ablaze with His power and full of His glory. GET IN!!!!!!
Don’t allow anything to keep you from experiencing this
move of God. Don’t allow other “stuff” to stand in your
way. Don’t allow people to stand in your way. Don’t
allow yourself to stand in the way. GET IN!!!!
Two words the Lord has spoken to me with which to challenge you: 1)
Distraction – Don’t allow yourself to be distracted from seeing all the
Lord is doing and don’t allow yourself to be distracted from becoming
all God wants you to become. 2) Frustration – The NLT says in the
Old Testament book of Ezra, that there were people who “frustrate their
aim” in re-building the temple. I got the picture of trying to aim a rifle
at a target, but a fly or bee keeps flying around your face. You keep
swatting the insect and then you have to re-aim. Again the insect flies
around your face….. what is it doing? FRUSTRATING YOUR AIM.
Anything the devil can do to get you off target, keep you distracted,
make you change your position….. he’ll try it. It keeps you from
focusing on where you’re headed. My prayer is that NOTHING will
keep us from keeping our eyes peeled on the target before us. We have
heard the voice of God and we can see the goal line ahead. DON’T
LOSE SIGHT OF THE GOAL…..Stay focused and in tune with
God.
How does staying in tune with God work? Evangelist Nolan preached
it to us Sunday morning. We must be separated from this world and
unto the Lord….no more straddling the fence or trying to live as close
to the world as we can. We’re moving on up and becoming the people
of God. We still believe in 2 Chron. 7:14 – If my people which are
called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from
PRAYER LIST: Austin Simmons, Denise Manley, Blake Tucker,
several weeks is “Hear us from heaven”. He promised He would, but
only in response to us doing our part. God will fulfill His promises,
when we, His people, do what He has asked us to do. I’m ready…..
how about you?

DEAR WOODRUFF CHURCH FAMILY: It has been an
honor to be part of what God is doing at Woodruff, and the
month of February was a highlight of our ministry since our
retirement. To be rejoined with the people we love most and to
minister in one of the great churches in our movement has been a
delight. I commend you for the good work you are doing and
your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. It is clear that you are at the
right place at the right time for God to move. Thank you for the
many ways you blessed us during this time…the offerings, the
support, and the fellowship. May God continue to work among
