I. Executive Summary

Plain and simple, you will get all the network and communication services a Small-Medium
Business would need in a secured and remote managed appliance at your premise, and your
monthly payment will be at least partially offset by the savings you will get while doing that.

edgeBox is an Office-in-a-Box Server Appliance, a Unified Communications Solution that

Provides All the Phone and Internet Communication / Data Services, a Small and Medium
Size Business needs.

III. The Proposal

1. Installation of edgeBox server appliance, a PoE switch, IP-Phones, UPS and also a
VPN-switch on a remote location.
2. Detailed configuration of users, email, file sharing, voice extensions, fax, etc.
3. Optional DID number with several channels with the ability to forward incoming calls if
your current business number is unavailable.
4. Optional DSL provider with a larger bandwidth, less cost and static IP included
5. Optional secondary remote server for a weekly backup
6. Warranty and support for a period of two years

IV. The Cost ... or better says the savings

1. A monthly leasing plan of 398 CAD over two years under the warranty support terms
for up to ten users – less featured approaches are available for 298 a month.
2. The actual cost will be smaller because that lease amount would be at least partially
offset from potential savings on phone bills, DSL Internet access, email & web hosting
and IT technical support.
3. Our proposal is by far a value / cost advantage, but if you get it from the savings is
even better.

V. The schedule

After confirmation and lease approval the implementation will be as follow

1. Month #1 - Everything configured and tested, running in your place using your DSL
connection
2. Month #2 - Changes on current phone and DSL plans if needed
3. Month #3 - Final details and Done!
