Mike and Verna Walrod
working with Wycliffe Bible
Translators. Teacher,
advisor- CanIL program at
Trinity Western University
preparing young people to
do Bible translation

Hello Praying Friends,

There are places where names of towns, cities, countries, or a
people group cannot be named. In these pockets of Gods
universe Wycliffe people are working amid the chaos of wars
and restrictions. And in these pockets God is at work. He
gathers the pieces together intricately putting them into place
at the right moments. And as the mosaic forms, we stand in
awe of Him. And get a glimpse of kingdom expansion. An
abundance of wisdom, strength, safety and peace interspersed
with joy is needed for those living and serving in these areas.
We received an urgent request just this week from The City
of Grace. Please pray!
The paper Mike is preparing for the Bible translation
conference in Dallas (October 15-19) is in the final stage.
Pray for safety as he travels, clarity of thought as he presents,
and that the participants will discover new ideas that will
enhance their translation projects.

Happening at Westbourne
1 - 2 - 3 who do we appreciate...Pastor Bill and ever so
great...Side by side next to his lovely wife....Teaching,
praying, loving his life, with God given talents and very
strong traits!

Starting this Sunday we have an opportunity to sign one of the

handmade cards by Desiree Smith.
JOIN US on Sunday October 25th for some fellowship after the
Sunday morning service for Cake (gluten free too) along with
some coffee and juice. Show Pastor Bill and Deb how much we
appreciate what they do for us, on a day to day basis.
