Scholarship Database

Each year, applicants from all over the world have shown interest in MAIDS programme. A
half of the students, who were accepted by the programme, were from Southeast Asian countries,
and most of them were fully supported by organizations and foundations, both single and joint
scholarships. Therefore, MAIDS programme creates current scholarship database for those
applicants who are interested in our programme.

SCG Foundation ASEAN Foundation MAIDS Programme Scholarship


SCG Foundation, the ASEAN Foundation and the Master of Arts in International
Development Studies (MAIDS) is pleased to grant up to 3 full scholarships for individuals
wishing to study at the Master of Arts Program in International Development Studies at
Chulalongkorn University.
Two scholarships are open to government or non-profit sector employees from each
of the following two Southeast Asian countries: (1) Cambodia and (2) Vietnam
One scholarship is open to a government or non-profit sector employee who lives in
the far South of Thailand or would like to conduct his or her thesis on conflict in that
area.

Consortium of Development Studies in Southeast Asia (CDSSEA)


The Consortium of Development Studies in Southeast Asia (CDSSEA) is awarding scholarships
to candidates from Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand who would like to
pursue a Masters degree in development studies in Thailand. Under the CDSSEA scholarship
Program, applicants can choose to study on one of three leading development programs,

namely: the Master of Arts in International Development Studies (MAIDS) at


Chulalongkorn University, the Master of Arts in Sustainable Development (MASD) at Chiang
Mai University or the Master of Science in Gender and Development Studies (MGDS) at the
Asian Institute of Technology.

The Royal Thai Governments Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency
(TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs has offered Masters scholarships for students, from
several nations, in different courses.
