Procedure:
1. Teacher explains to students that they will read an essay called For Lifes
Sake. Then ask students questions by using WH questions related to the
essay.
2. Teacher gives the photocopy of the essay (and Glossary) from the issue
forum, review the essay and ask them to complete the tasks, after that, ask
them to read the definition of their difficult words.
3. Teacher prepares the students for oral discussion by dividing into groups.
4. Teacher gives several questions related to the essay for group discussion.
5. Teacher asks students to do selected projects, then ask them to write or to
prepare for oral presentation.

Procedure:
1. Teacher prepares a text by considering the level of students.
2. Teacher asks two students to come up to white board, each of them use the
half of it, then they have to draw what they hear while teacher read aloud the
text.
3. After that, teacher asks the other students whether the pictures on the white
board are correct or not. If yes, then ask the both of students explain what
they draw.
4. Teacher dictates the text traditionally and students write on sheet.
5. Then, teacher gives the correct text by using multimedia, ask students to
exchange their sheet to correct.
6. Teacher just does simple check the students sheet if he trusts the students
correction.

B. GRAMMAR

Procedures:
1. Teacher uses visual aids to present the grammar structure to be taught
2. Students deduce the meaning of the form and the use of it.
3. Teacher checks students understanding by asking yes/no questions focusing
on form, meaning, and use.
4. Teacher gets students to practice the structure through repetition and
substitution drills.
5. Teacher provides students with opportunities to use new language in a freer,
more creative way.

Using songs
Procedures:
1. Teacher prepares a song by considering the level of students, for example, it
is better for elementary students to have a familiar song or children song and
more meaningful song for teenagers or adults.
2. Use several techniques to do it such as gap fills or close text, focus questions,
or true-false statements.

Procedures:
1. Teacher motivates students to make some enthusiastic talks about the poet
or poetry.
2. Teacher asks students to close their eyes when reading the poetry to get
better imagination.
3. Teacher asks to read several times loudly or silently.
4. Teacher asks students to paraphrase the poetry.

Procedures:
1. Divide class into groups then give them one case.
2. Teacher asks students individually or in group to response or give solution of
the problem

Procedures:
1. Exploration, in this stage, students are given sentences illustrating a certain
grammar rule and are asked as a group to find the pattern.
2. Explanation, students find sequences or patterns in the example they used
during the exploration stage.
3. Expression, students start practicing the production of meaningful utterances
with each other in communication and interactive tasks.
Communicative Grammar- Its Time to Talk by Noriko Nishiguchi
Procedures:
1. Teacher decides on a theme or a topic by considering their areas of interests
and levels.
2. Decide the grammar areas that become the focus of study.
3. Teacher prepares six to eight questions based on the interest areas and
grammatical areas.
4. Teacher use both kinds of question to make a gap filling or matching exercise.
5. Students have their own questions.
6. Students do interview in pairs, before that, teacher writes number or letter on
the back of the sheet. Students who have the same number or letter will be a
pair.
