Hello, CWN viewers!
My name is John Robinson and, today, I have the pleasure to interview a very
important rock star. Lets welcome Steve Jagger!

John: Steve is a famous singer and leader of the Sick Puppies band. Welcome,
Steve! Thank you for this interview.
Steve: Thank you, John.
John: Tell us, Steve, whats the typical day of a rock star like?
Steve: Well... I wake up at 4:40 am. I take a shower, and at 5:00 am, I go to
the gym and exercise for an hour. Then, at 6:30 am, I meet my band mates for
breakfast. We usually talk about new songs we have to record.
John: Great! What do you do after breakfast?
Steve: After breakfast, we go to the studio to practice, compose and record new
songs. We have a new album. We are very happy about it.
John: And what time do you have lunch?
Steve: We stay in the studio until about 12:30 pm. Then, we have lunch.
John: Do you have lunch with the band?
Steve: No, I often go home to have lunch with my wife. Sometimes, I go to my
parents.

John: OK. Do you go back to the studio after lunch?


Steve: No, at about 3:00 pm, we meet our promoter to talk about interviews or
concerts we have.
John: What do you do late in the afternoon?
Steve: After that, we usually go to radio stations to promote our albums and
concerts.
John: And how about the evening?
Steve: I usually go home, spend some time with the kids and watch TV.
John: Tell us about your free time. What are your hobbies? What do you do on
weekends?
Steve: I dont have much free time. But, when it is possible, I like swimming,
inviting friends for dinner, cooking and reading.

To ask yes/no questions in the present simple, we use auxiliary verbs do and does and
the following structure:

Hi, my name is Melissa Arnold and I am a writer, I write novels. This is my daily
routine: I get up at 7:00 am and take my kids to school at 8:00 am. Then, I come
home and have breakfast at 9:00 am. I usually write from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm.
After that, I pick up my kids at 1:00 pm. We have lunch at 1:30 pm. We spend all
the afternoon together and do homework. At 8:30 pm, we have dinner. I usually
write again from 8:30 pm until 10:00 pm. Finally, I go to bed at 10:30 pm.

Hi, my name is Elizabeth McCormick and Im an architect. This is my daily routine:
I wake up at 6:00 am and have coffee. Then, I go to the temple from 7:00 am until
8:00 am. After that, I visit customers or supervise the progress of the buildings I
design. I have lunch at the same restaurant everyday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
In the afternoon, I just go home and work in my projects. At 6:00 pm, I usually
watch the news and have dinner. After that, I sometimes read for 2 hours. Finally,
