PREP IV-ID
I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson the pupils will be able to:
1. Identify the different parts of the house.
2. Appreciate the importance of every parts of the house.
3. Locate the things we do in the different parts of the
house.
II. Subject Matter:
Topic: Parts of the House
Reference: Sibika at Kultura pp 8-11
Materials: Visual Aids, Pictures, and Video

III. Learning Activities:

A. Introduction
Okay before we start our lesson lets
pray first.
B. Motivation.
- Okay class, before we start our
lesson, we will first watch a video.
- When we watch a video what are we
going to do?
- Very Good.
(Video Presentation)
- Okay class. What have you seen in
the video?
- So what do you think is our lesson
for today?
C. Presentation
(I will post the topic on the board)
- okay lets read together
- Okay class, I have here the different
kinds of picture of the things that can
found in every parts of the house. All
you need to do is put those picture in
their corresponding places.
- Understand
- Okay lets do it one by one.
- Okay all of you are very good lets
clap our hands.

D. Discussion :
- Okay class, this is the house. The
house has 5 parts.
The different parts of the house are:
bedroom, kitchen, comfort room,
dining room and the last is the living
room.
- Okay do you know the things that we
do in the kitchen?
- We prepare and cook our foods.
Aside from preparing and cooking
what are the things we do in the
kitchen?
- Okay very good!
- Okay another part of the house is
the bedroom. Do you know the things
that we do in the bedroom?
- In the bedroom thats the place
where we sleep and relax.
- Again what are we doing in the
bedroom?
- Very good youre listening well.
- Okay! This one is the comfort room.
What are we doing in the comfort
room?
- Aside from taking a bath, we do also
our personal necessities like. Poop and
pee.
- Another part of the house is the
dining room.
- What are we doing in the dining
room?
- Very Good! Dining room is the place
where we eat our meals.
- The last part of the house is the
living room.
- Okay! What are we doing in the
living room?
- Okay very good!
- We also receive our visitors in the
living room.

- Students are listening well.

- Yes Maam!
- Maam, We wash our hands and
dishes.

- Yes Maam!

- Sleep Maam.

- Taking a bath Maam.

- Eat Maam!

- Watch TV Maam.

of the house and the things we do in
that place.

-We clean the kitchen; we fix our
bed after waking up in the
morning; we turn off the television
after using; we clean and flush the
toilet after using; and we wash the
dishes and clean the table after
eating.

G. Application
- I have here a miniture of the house
and the picture of the things we are
doing in the different parts of the
house. All you need to do is to put
those pictures in their corresponding
places.
- I will group you into two.
- In the count of three. Go!
- The pupils are putting those
picture in their corresponding
places.
