OptiX OSN 7500 II is targeted for metropolitan backbone layer to schedule and transmit services of
different types and granularities
Point-to-point, chain, star, ring, ring-with-chain, intersecting rings, and tangent rings Supported
Optix OSN 7500 II has Universal Switch Architecture
Maximum of 320 Gbit/s packet capacity
Maximum of 360 Gbit/s SDH higher-order and 80 Gbit/s SDH lower-order capacities
Supports universal line boards, allowing services after being scheduled on the OTN, SDH, PKT
service planes to seamlessly share line transmission bandwidth.

Usage
Press this button to test indicators. If you press this button,
the indicators on all the boards of the subrack (except the
electrical interface indicator for Ethernet services and the
L/A indicator of the EFF8) turn on.
Press this button to mute alarms. To mute the current
alarm, press this button for a short time.
If you press this button for three seconds or longer, alarms
are muted permanently and the ALMC indicator turns on. If
you press this button again for three seconds or longer, the
alarm muting function is canceled and the ALMC indicator
turns off.

Meaning
The clock works in free-run mode and the system clock priority list is not set. By default,
the system clock priority list contains only internal sources.
The clock works in locked mode and is tracing a clock source other than the internal
sources in the priority list.
The system clock priority list is set. All the clock sources, however, are lost except for the
internal clock sources. The clock works in holdover mode or free-run mode.
The board is in the alarm mute state.
When an alarm is generated, the equipment emits an alarm sound.
