Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business (HUWIB) is currently the largest undergraduate business
organization on campus at Harvard, reaching over 400 members and thousands of alumni. HUWIB
seeks to empower a dynamic group of enterprising young women by uniting them through business
education and experience. Through panels, conferences, outreach initiatives, skill-building workshops,
leadership projects, and mentorship programs, HUWIB seeks to expose undergraduate women to
a variety of business careers, providing them with skills they need to become future leaders in the
corporate world.
WHAT IS IWIB?
Established in 2009 as the National Women in Business Summit, the International Women in Business
(IWIB) Summit has expanded to become a prestigious summit for a select group of about 40 executive
leaders of top collegiate business organizations around the world. With a full day of targeted, intensive
leadership programming, IWIB is also one of the main programs of Women in Business Weekend at
Harvard.
The IWIB Summit offers an intimate forum for young women to interact and foster a long-lasting
network that is maintained through a host of additional programming and resources such as regional
reunions and mentorship pairings. In addition to building relationships, delegates will be able to
strengthen their own organizations by sharing best practices, leveraging collective resources, and
gaining valuable insights from both their peers and from top female business leaders in the world.
This years IWIB Summit programming focuses on possibility, innovation, and empowering attendees
to pioneer new and creative ways to lead in their business organizations. Each of our keynote speakers
and presenters has done just this within her respective position and organization, creating opportunities
where they hadnt previously existed and inspiring many along the way. Therefore, we are excited to
announce that this years IWIB theme is Pioneers in Business, recognizing leaders who have truly
pioneered by adding creative and dynamic elements to fields ranging from finance, to education and the
non-profit sector. We are thrilled to also be inviting young women who have truly pioneered within their
schools business organizations as delegates to this years IWIB Summit.
