About VNMAP

VNMAP is an official 501©3 non-profit organization that focuses on serving the

Vietnamese community by providing health care assistance in both Viet Nam and in
the United States. VNMAP consists of a network of medical professionals and
students who are interested in community service, international medicine and
leadership. It has successfully organized three medical missions to Viet Nam and
hosted various health and education programs locally.

VNMAP’s Values and Beliefs

o Address the health care disparity providing health education and medical
assistance.
o Value the importance of health education in disease prevention
o Promote a learning environment for a diverse group of participants
o Encourage open communication and exchange of information, experience and
cultural values.

VNMAP Mission Statement

VNMAP's mission is to address the health care disparity of the poor in Viet Nam
while promoting health awareness through collaborative efforts and education. Our
mission consists of providing medical assistance, health education, and health
survey assessment. VNMAP is dedicated to educate health professionals, medical
students, volunteers, and members about the health status of different regions in
Viet Nam.

VNMAP’s Fundraising Banquet

The 4th annual fundraising event on Friday, April 9th, 2010 at New Fortune Restaurant
from 7:00pm-11:00pm includes singing and instrumental performances, a cultural show,
and an auction to support VNMAP Medical Mission to the Southern Regions of Viet Nam in
June 2010.
