BatchingcriteriaadoptedfortheJulymonthITStream:
We are happy to announce the release of the third round of batching letters for the IT stream of 2015
graduates, whose on-boarding is scheduled for July 2015.
We have finished releasing the IT letters today..
The joining letters for IT for the month of July 2015 have been released as on 19- May-2015.This July
batch being the early on-boarding of trainees that we have done so far, hence we had to take into
account parameters like your qualification category (Technical UG) and Aspire cut off score of 3756
and above mile points to arrive at the leader board for July joining which is in line with our
business requirements.
Access to Aspire quizzes has been restored today morning, 20th May 2015 and students yet to be
batched will have access to the Aspire quizzes till the next cut off date of 8-June-2015. To redo a course
and improve upon the current Aspire score, students may make use of the "Reset" functionality available
in Aspire.
Note: The Reset functionality will be available for students only if they have completed at least one quiz
before the previous deadline i.e. 11-May-2015

Aspire continues to be your opportunity and window to a participatory early on-boarding in TCS in the
coming months. So, keep scoring your miles and join us fast !

1) Complete Aspire courses
In case you have not completed Aspire course modules, please complete them at the earliest. Reset
option is not applicable for you.
2) Tech Lounge Courses
Commence learning on Tech Lounges and make sure your preparation on Tech Lounges is good.
Participate actively in the sessions conducted by the ILP team in Tech Lounges.
You can access Tech Lounge content directly irrespective of your Aspire completion status

Webinar sessions have been arranged to explain Tech Lounge course concepts. They aim at
making you to understand and gain confidence. Be active and participate in the webinar
sessions.
3) Joining ILP
Upon joining ILP, you will be taking up the Initial Readiness Tests (1&2) that is based on Aspire &
Tech Lounge content. Preparing well on Aspire and Tech Lounge assigned will be key to doing well in
IRA.
Students whose performance at IRA tests conducted at ILP at the date of your joining is found to be
below the set standards will be asked to leave ILP and their joining will be rescheduled.

Important :- Stream Selection
We will be enabling the stream selection shortly
There are a few changes to the stream selection process and this will be detailed once the option is
enabled

OtherUpdates
1) Aspire Quiz Access
We have restored access to Aspire quizzes you can now go ahead and complete the remaining Aspire
courses.
2) Reset course
Except the Business Communication course all other courses that you have attempted a single quiz
before the deadline enforcement carry the "reset course option"
Please note the manner in which course reset option is to be used
1) Before resetting courses, we recommend that you complete all the course modules in Aspire first.
2) Choose to reset the course where you have scored the lowest in comparison to other courses (where
reset is applicable)
3) When you reset a course the following things happen
Your entire attempt history for that course is removed. Miles earned for that course is set to zero,
Badges earned for that course is removed.
You begin the course afresh (taking the course for the very first time)
The miles earned in a course reset by you will be removed from your overall miles earned.
Course progression status for that course is set to zero and overall progression made by you also
changes.

Please note the month wise Aspire cut off dates from Aug'15 to March'16 batching.
