Rep. Ananayo raised a point of inquiry about the role of the University Dorm
Life Committee.
Rep. Cadalso explained the role of the University Dorm Life Committee.
Rep. Flores raised a motion to be able to vote twice for the 3 assemblymen
and thrice for 5 assemblymen in electing the constitutional committees.
Having 33 in favor votes, 0 not in-favor votes and 3 votes to abstain, motion
has been carried.
Rep. Flores raised a motion to have a secret balloting for the election of the
constitutional committees from
Rep. Macion raised a motion to recess for 5 minutes.
Rep. Flores withdraws her motion to have a secret balloting for the election of
the constitutional committees.
Rep. Cadalso explained that the clapping of hands is inappropriate during
assembly meetings.
Rep. Antiquina raised a motion for a 5 minutes break for the committees to
discuss and elect their individual committee chairpersons.
Having 38 in-favor votes and 0 votes for not in-favor and abstain, motion
considered.
Request for report from a committee representative to introduce committee

Distribution of copies of the SUSG Assembly house rules and guidelines to
the representative.
Reading of the house rules and guidelines
Rep. Quisumbing raised a point of information whether the distributed copies
of the SUSG Assembly house rules and guidelines was the revised one.
Rep. Cadalso requested Rep. Quisumbing to provide the secretary a copy of
her resolution.
Rep. Buenavista requested the secretary to provide all the representatives a
copy of Rep. Quisumbings resolution.

Rep. Cadalso raised a motion to amend Rule IV -2a to submit notices every
Thursday prior to the meeting before 8:00 pm or before the SUSG office
closes.
The Majority was in favor, rule IV has been amended.
Rep. Elleso raised a motion to adopt rule IV.
The Majority was in favor, the motion has been approved.
Rep. Macion raised a motion to adopt rule V.
The majority was in favor, the motion has been carried.
Rep. Antiquina raised a point of inquiry in pursuant to rule VI-1 to have an
assembly next Sunday.
Rep. Buenavista explained that the assembly might opt not to have an
assembly next Sunday
Rep. Cadalso raised a motion to have an assembly on the last Sunday of the
month, June 28 and still remain with the provision to have an assembly on the
first and third Sundays of the proceeding months.
The majority was in favor, the motion has been carried.
Rep. Flores raised a motion to adopt rule VI.

Rep. Sung raised a motion to have the hand rule to measure the length of the
skirt of the women
The motion was seconded by Rep. Gadayan.

Rep. Cadalso requested the secretary to read the minutes regarding the motion
made by him regarding the adaption of the SUSG assembly 2015-2016 house
rules.
Rep. Sung raised a motion to reconsider to adapt the entirety of the decision.
The majority was in favor, motion has been reconsidered.
Rep. Sung raised a motion to amend the skirt length from below the knee to
using hand rule to measure the length of the skirt to determine the
appropriateness.
The majority was in favor, amendment has been carried.
Rep. Dempsey raised a point of inquiry to restate the entire dress code.
Rep. Quisumbing restated the dress code with the amendments made.
Rep. Dempsey raised a motion to amend that men be allowed to wear shorts.
Having 19 in-favor votes, 5 not in-favor votes and 10 abstain votes, motion
has been carried.
Rep. Cadalso raised a motion to reconsider that men be allowed to wear
shorts.
Having 15 in favor votes, 2 not in-favor votes and 13 abstain votes, motion
has been carried.
Rep. Cadalso requested the authors of the resolution to explain the rationale of
their resolution.
Rep. Quisumbing explained the rationale of their resolution.
Rep. Dempsey made a point that the Philippine legislation has air
conditioners.

Rep. Flores raised a point of inquiry as to what comprises special meeting.
Rep. Sung explained what the special meetings are.
Rep. Macion raised a motion to adopt the amendment.
Rep. Cadalso objected the motion.
Rep. Cadalso explained that special meetings are meetings set by the
speaker
Rep. Sung revised her motion and asked for suggestions.
Rep. Cadalso suggested: The assembly is only required to wear formal
attire when requested by the speaker.
Rep. Sung adopted the suggestion of Rep. Cadalso.
Rep. Antiquina seconded the motion.
The majority was in favor, motion has been carried.
Rep. Dempsey raised a motion to approve the remainder of the house rules
with the exception of the dress code.
The majority was in-favor, motion has been carried.
Rep. Elleso suggested to tackle the communication of Rep. Ladero.
Rep. Villamil seconded the motion.
The majority was in-favor, the motion was carried out.
Rep. Ladero suggested that the speaker read his letter.

sent by Mr. Ladero.
