Description
The voltage of surge protector 1 or 2 and the alarm voltage are consistent for 20 seconds
The maintenance link between the main control board and the other boards in the subrack malfunctions

This alarm is reported when the data transmission on the CPRI link (at the link layer) malfunctions between the BBU and the lowerlevel RF units

This alarm is reported when a person enters the equipment room or the door of the cabinet is open
This alarm is reported when a fan is faulty.

Flow control on system

The BSC periodically checks the BCCH TRX and the RSL of the BCCH TRX. This alarm is generated when the RSL of the BCCH
TRX is faulty or the BCCH TRX is unavailable for use.
In multi-mode configuration, this alarm is reported when the main control board in the current mode cannot communicate with the
main control board in the other mode.
In multi-mode configuration, this alarm is reported when the parameter settings of a monitoring device in a mode are inconsistent with
those of the same monitoring device in the other mode.
This alarm is reported when the mains input is out of range.

This event is generated when the size of the log exceeds 80% of the maximum size. The maximum size of the text log is 500 MB, and
it is saved in "OMU installation directory/mbsc/bam/common/fam/famlog".

This alarm is reported when the radio signaling link (RSL) between the BSC and the TRX fails.

This alarm is reported when the average RX level difference between the main and diversity RX channels of the RF unit exceeds the
statistical RX level difference in each measurement period (32 dB).
This event is reported when the RF unit is powered on or reset.
This alarm is reported when the VSWR at the antenna port of the TX channel of an RF unit is higher than the preset threshold.

This event is generated when the switchback after BCCH mutual aid occurs under the following conditions: The BSC detects that the
original BCCH TRX resumes normal operation, the BCCH is in the unblocked administrative state, and the switchback is allowed in
the cell. This event alarm will also be generated when a forced switchback occurs due to data configuration.
This alarm is reported when an analog sensor fails to work properly.

This alarm is reported when the maintenance link between the RF unit and the ALD (RET antenna, TMA, or SASU) malfunctions.

This event alarm is generated when a cell that supports the PS service detects that the transmission delay between the BTS and the
BSC does not meet the specified requirements. According to the requirements, delay in a normal cell must be shorter than or equal to
240 ms, delay in a satellite cell must be shorter than or equal to 800 ms.
This alarm is reported when the temperature at the air outlet of the cabinet is too high or too low.

This alarm is generated when the bandwidth available for an IP logical port (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) is equal to or
lower than the congestion left bandwidth threshold (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) of the IP logical port due to the access
of new services, the change of the bandwidth (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) available for the IP logical port, or the
modification of the congestion threshold (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) of the IP logical port.

This alarm is reported when the CPU usage of the RF unit is beyond the operating threshold.

This alarm is reported in the case of clock reference loss, excessive frequency deviation between the clock reference and the local
oscillator, unstable clock reference frequency, or excessive jitter.

The data link layer protocol between the BSC and the BTS is the LAPD protocol. To enable the communication between the data link
layers of the BSC and the BTS through the LAPD protocol, the LAPD link should be established. The link carries operation and
maintenance information is called OML or LAPD_OML. This alarm is generated when the BSC detects the LAPD_OML disconnection
between the BSC and the BTS or the BSC detects that the handshake with the BTS times out.

This alarm is generated when the extended signaling link (ESL) between the BSC and the BTS is disconnected.
This event is reported when an NE (such as a base station) is restarted because of user command or exception.
This event is reported when a board is restarted because of user command or exception.
This alarm is generated when the Ethernet port of the FG2a/GOUa/FG2c/GOUc is configured with an IP address or added to a trunk
group but the Ethernet port cannot transmit or receive packets.

In ring topology, the CPRI uplink and downlink of the RF unit cooperate in active/standby mode. If the CPRI uplink is faulty, the RF
unit automatically switches to the CPRI downlink. This event is reported in this case.
This event is generated when the local user fails to log in to the system.
This alarm is reported when the AC surge protector is faulty.

This alarm is reported when the BTS detects that the radio link is faulty. A faulty radio link may be caused by abnormal channel
release, zero traffic on the TCH, SDCCH, and PDCH for a long time period, imbalance between uplink and downlink, or abnormal
channel activation in a preset alarm detection period.
This event is generated when the BCCH TRX is faulty and a normal TRX in the cell is selected as the new BCCH TRX.

This alarm is reported when the DC output of the power system is out of range.

This alarm is reported when the batteries are exhausted, the battery temperature is extremely high, or when the batteries are
powered off manually or remotely.

This alarm is reported when the operating temperature of an RF unit is beyond the normal range.
This alarm is generated when the cell distribution fails, or the Gb interface is blocked.
This alarm is generated when a GSM cell is manually blocked.

This event is generated when the number of alarm logs exceeds the maximum capacity (150,000 by default).

This alarm is reported when the monitoring module fails to communicate with the power module properly.

This alarm is generated when the bandwidth available for the path (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) is equal to or lower
than the congestion left bandwidth threshold (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) due to the access of new services, the
adjustment of the bandwidth (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) available over the physical port, or the modification of the
congestion threshold (forward bandwidth or backward bandwidth) of the path.

This alarm is generated when the length of the LAPD send queue exceeds the upper limit of the configured congestion threshold.

Impact to System
sensor, voltage, board, cable damage/incorect
The board may not work normally. The ongoing services carried on the board are disrupted.
In chain topology, the CPRI link of lower-level RF units is disconnected. The services carried on lower-level RF units are disrupted. In ring
topology, the reliability of the CPRI link decreases. In this case, the active CPRI link of lower-level RF units is switched over to the standby
CPRI link. In the case of a hot
The equipment may be damaged or stolen.
Heat dissipation of the BTS does not work properly. In a severe case, the hardware of the BTS may be damaged.
The functions such as printing, interface tracing, call tracing, RRM performance monitoring, or resource auditing may be temporarily stopped
due to the high system load. The paging message or the access message may be discarded in serious overload situation.

All the speech services and data services are disrupted in the cell
The consistency check cannot be performed for inter-system configuration. The common alarms shared by different systems are reported
repeatedly.
The parameter settings of a monitoring device in a mode are incorrect. In this case, the related data configuration may not take effect in this
mode, and alarms may be mistakenly reported.
AC Failure, AC Phase Loss, AC Overvoltage, AC Undervoltage --> Output power decreases and some boards are powered off, the durability
of power system is shortened

If the log is not backed up and the size of the log exceeds the maximum size, the earlier information of the log is removed.

The TRX automatically shuts down the power amplifier (PA), and the ongoing services carried on the TRX are disrupted. If the TRX is the
BCCH TRX, the ongoing services of the cell holding the TRX are disrupted.
The UL receive sensitivity drops, and the coverage area is reduced. If the faulty TRX is a BCCH TRX, the coverage area of the cell is
reduced, which may lead to the drop of the handover success rate.
The RF unit starts. The services of the RF unit are set up again.
The return loss at the antenna port is excessive. In this case, the RF unit automatically switches off the TX channel, and the ongoing
services carried on the TX channel are disrupted.

The cell is re-initialized, and the BCCH is switched back to the original BCCH TRX. Thus, the services are temporarily disrupted (for no more
than 10 seconds).

The BTS cannot work properly, and heat dissipation of the system is affected.
If the maintenance link of the RET antenna is broken, the antenna tilt cannot be regulated. In this case, the state of the RET antenna cannot
be monitored. If the maintenance link of the TMA is broken, the TMA gain cannot be configured. In this case, the state of the TMA cannot be
monitored.

When the cause of this event is "Delay in a normal cell longer than 240 ms", the channels are allocated normally for EGPRS services but the
service performance is degraded; for GPRS services, up to one uplink channel and three downlink channels can be assigned, and the
service performance is affected.
The device may be damaged because of a high temperature. In this case, the ongoing services are disrupted.

The subsequent connection requests may be rejected.

Some functions of the RF unit may fail, such as channel gain correction. In this case, the quality of services carried on the RF unit
decreases. Long-term CPU overload may result in delayed response or timeout of maintenance tasks of the RF unit.

The base station fails to synchronize to the clock reference. The system clock may be unusable if the base station does not obtain the clock
reference for a long time. As a result, the quality of services of the base station decreases, resulting in handover failure and call drop. In
certain cases, the base station cannot provide services.

All the BTS services are disrupted when the LAPD_OML is disconnected.

The speech services are all disrupted in the related BTS.

The ongoing services carried on the base station are disrupted. The user is notified that the NE starts up.
The ongoing services carried on the board are disrupted.
The services carried on the Ethernet link are disrupted.

In the case of a hot ring, the ongoing services are not affected. In the case of a cold ring, the ongoing services are disrupted temporarily.
The administrator is notified that the local user fails to log in to the system.
When this alarm is generated, the surge protection module in the surge protection device is damaged. This lowers the surge protection
capability of the BTS. The BTS, if struck by lightening again, may be damaged.

The network KPIs deteriorate. The service quality decreases.

The cell is re-initialized, and the services are temporarily disrupted (for no more than 10 seconds).
The DC output overvoltage may cause damage to the boards of the base station. In this case, the ongoing services carried on the boards
are disrupted. The DC output undervoltage may lead to board power-off at the base station. In this case, the ongoing services carried on the
boards are disrupted.

When the batteries are disconnected due to low voltage, the base station stops working and all related services are disrupted. The services
are resumed only after the AC power supply is available.

The RF unit automatically switches off the TX channel to prevent the hardware from being burned out because of high temperature. The
ongoing services carried on the RF unit are disrupted.
The cell cannot provide the PS service.
The cell is unavailable for use.

The system deletes some alarms from the database.

The power module is not installed or not in position. The faulty power module cannot provide the DC power. This fault weakens the DC
power capability of the base station and may affect some services. The power module is in position, but its communication with the
monitoring module fails. The faulty power module is not in control of the monitoring module. The services may be affected for a while.

The subsequent connection requests may be rejected.

The inappropriate setting of the congestion threshold or heavy traffic volume will slow down the service processing speed.
